Eli drove his car silently while stealing glances at the woman next to him. This was the first that he ever saw her wear a dress. She looked stunning that he got tongue-tied in front of her. 

Meanwhile, Belle's hands were sweating from the anxiety. She felt so awkward beside him and she wasn't sure if Eli liked her outfit or not. He hadn't said anything to her. It wasn't like she really needed him to compliment her, but she wanted to know if she looked all right. It would be embarrassing to walk next to him if she looked unpresentable. 

After making the second stop because of the traffic light, Eli turned to face Belle. "Do you have a place you wanted to go? If not, I'd like to bring you somewhere," he said while trying his best not to look bashful in front of her,
