Capítulo 54: The University

"Marx!"  Amaya repeated a second time and she was breathless.  His face was too close that she could see her own eyes reflected in his two orbs of ocean blue.  She could smell the familiar mix of scents of sandalwood, cedar, musk, and patchouli.

Marx jolted and was brought back to his senses.  It took a lot of willpower for him to lift his body away from her.  He kneeled beside her and extended his hand toward her.

"Did I hurt you?  I am sorry I was not able to carry your weight."  Marx's face reddened out of embarrassment. His face was flushed after the intimate encounter with Amaya.

"I am not hurt.  It is my fault.  I think you were not yet ready when I pulled myself up."
