Capítulo 41: A new side of the rainbow!
"It's currently 1pm and they still haven't made it." One of the Gym trainers stated.
"Are you sure they didn't get lost in the cave?"
"That might be a possibility." Erika said, still looking at the entrance.
Hours pass by and the sun starts to set.
"Maybe we should close for today?" the Gym trainer suggested.
Erika nodded and was about to leave.
"Woah! The roof is made of glass!?"
A voice echoed through the gym alerting everyone.
"Could it be…" Erika muttered hearing a voice…my voice.
"Ok lady, step right up so i can knock ya down!"
"Quiet down-" Chloe said behind me punching my arm.
"O-ow.."
"You are..interesting indeed." Erika got up from her seat and pulled out her first pokeball.
"Ready when you are-"
"Alright! Your up Zorua-"
Zorua ran unto the field ready for battle.
"Go Ivysaur." She gently threw a pokeball to the ground and out popped a weird toad like creature with a bud on its back.
"Huh?" I pulled out my pokedex and aimed it at the Ivysaur, it had a weird feather stuck on it's bud.
"Ivysaur the seed Pokemon, Ivysaur, Bulbasaur's evolved form. The bulb on its back absorbs nourishment and blooms into a large flower."
'He doesn't know what an Ivysaur is? Surely he can't be the one Surge is speaking of-
But that pokemon he's using…there's no denying it-'
Erika thought about her next course of action and I decided to go straight in with it.
"Zorua! Use shadow ball!"
Zorua charged a ball of shadow and sent it straight for ivysaur.
Ivysaur dodged the attack without Erika's command.
"Ivysaur use sunny day."
The Ivysaur shook its bud and the sun started to shine more intensely
The sudden heat wave hits me so hard i began to sweat like crazy-
Zorua seemed to be feeling the same side effects as me.
"Zorua..use Darkpulse."
Zorua sent a beam of dark energy at Ivysaur.
"Ivysaur dodge and use solarbeam."
The Ivysaur dodged the attack and shot a beam of light right at Zorua.
The weird feather disappeared from its bud.
It moved so fast we didn't have time to dodge and Zorua was hit hard.
"Zorua you ok??" I called out to my friend as she got up to fight again.
"Ok good-"
Ivysaur stared intensely and Zorua waiting for our next move and we're not planning to disappoint.
"Zorua use darkpulse!!" I commanded again and she did just that.
Sending a beam of dark energy directly at the Ivysaur!
"Ivysaur dodge and use solar beam!"
Ivysaur dodged the attack again and used solar beam once more.
"Zorua! Quickly use Copycat!!"
Zorua copied the move and use solarbeam canceling out the other.
Both Zorua and Ivysaur needed time to catch their breaths but they were still going strongly at each other.
"Ivysaur use razorleaf!"
"Dodge it Zorua!"
This isn't good i can't think straight this place is just too hot-
I need to finish this quickly but how? This is only her first pokemon they're 2 more to go after this and I'm struggling here!
Zorua dodged the attack successfully but barely.
"Zorua use Dark pulse!"
'His current moveset so far consists of Darkpulse, Shadowball and Copycat…not the ideal moveset, nothing too extraordinary either… what kind of trainer is this kid-'
Erika lets her mind wander and wander but comes to no sensible answer to his actions.
"Zorua use shadowball!" Zorua shot a ball of shadow at the Ivysaur which was finally hit by the attack.
"Ivysaur solar beam!!"
"Zorua Copycat!!"
Both Zorua and Ivysuar charged a solarbeam so powerful that when they collided a cloud of dust was raised flooding the field.
"Zorua use Darkpulse as soon as possible!!"
Zorua (as soon as it caught its composure) Released a beam of darkness through the cloud of dust catching Ivysaur off guard.
"Ivysaur stay focused and dodge the next one! Wait until the smoke clears!"
And all commanded Ivysaur waited for the next attack.
"Zorua, do it again!"
Zorua sent more dark pulses in Ivysaur's direction.
Ivysaur dodged most of the attacks but was hit by a few more of them.
The dust slowly settled as both Zorua and Ivysaur were revealed to each other.
Ivysaur tries to stay standing but it couldn't.
Ivysaur fell to the ground…and Zorua was victorious.
