Olivia POV
My wifey-sense was going crazy. Something had really upset Ellis, his stress broadcasting like radio-waves. If I were to guess, I would say it was what happened with me playing piano with Anthony.
Ellis had made his feelings about Anthony clear, especially after the way he’d tried to fool me during piano lessons before. He could hold a grudge for years if it came down to it.
I wasn’t so sure anymore. Despite my discomfort with Anthony being around my impressionable young piano students, I couldn’t assume that he meant any harm.
He was a flirt, and shameless one to boot, but there was no real evidence he would have taken it any further. If anything, he seemed to prefer women who were a little older.
Ellis was definitely less angry at dinner. When his ire was up everyone knew. There were certain ‘tells’ like the world’s worst poker player.
