Standing on the rooftop of Central City hospital, the Flash overlooked the city he had protected from all of the evils he had faced..and now he was ready to face one more; the meta-human serial killer known as
The Flash slowly turned his head as Red Death and Kate walked up to him, Red Death deactivates his cowl as he stands next to the Flash
"Are you ready to do this?"
It's not that Erick didn't trust in the plan it's just that he was still skeptical of it, he knew Nora was smart but she wasn't smart something deep down told him that there was more than meets the eye to this and he was going to find out
Flash:Yeah..im ready, just stick to the plan alright?
Erick simply just nodded his head as the Flash ran down the side of the hospital as Erick activated his cowl again
Kate:I may not know much about this team but are you sure that they can take down this Cicada..? Weren't you the one who beat them even before you found out you were Asgardian?
Even behind his mask, Erick did agree with Kate..but they had to at least try and stop this lunatic for what he had done, they both watch Cicada with his dagger in hand step out of the hospital and into the parking lot where the Flash stands as they overhear their conversation
Flash:Cicada..
Cicada:
His dagger glows with dark matter energy as he grips it even more tightly
Flash:Not all meta-humans are responsible for what happened to Grace
But that's not how Cicada saw it
Cicada:
Flash:I know about pain and death..taking it out on the world. It's not going to help..think about Grace--
Cicada:
Flash:And what about you? You're a meta-human now!
Cicada:
Cicada looks down at his dagger as it glows even brighter sensing the presence of more meta-humans around him
Cicada:
Red Death gives Kate a subtle nod knowing what she has to do just in case as he runs down the side of the hospital and stands next to the Flash as XS, Vibe and Elongated Man step our from their hiding spots
Cicada turns his attention to Red Death as he can sense his dagger wanting to kill him more than the others, he sensed something far more different in him
Cicada throws his dagger at Red Death but the dagger flies through the air and flies back into one of the concrete pillars as it lodges itself into the extrapolator they were able to get from all of pieces they needed
Cicada holds out his hand trying to call back his dagger to him but the dagger remains stuck inside of the wall as the Flash can feel the lightning spark inside of him
Flash:It worked..let's see how you like it..
He runs at Cicada and hits him with a punch to the chest followed by a hard uppercut as Red Death runs in and grabs Cicada by his leg and spins him around as he let's him go and jumps up into the air as Red Death body slams Cicada into the ground
Vibe sees this as his chance as he pulls out the dagger from the pillar and opens up a breach and throws it and closes it just as quickly
But Red Death wondered where did Vibe throw the dagger to? Was it to another dead world or maybe into the Sun itself? Surely they did either of those things..right?
Vibe:Oh man it looks like your having a day! Was it because you threw your dagger into outer space or was it because your realizing you didn't kill me?
Red Death immediately realized their mistake as he called them out
"
But XS didn't understand why Red Death was lashing out
XS:We stopped him, isn't that what matters?
But how wrong they were as Cicada roared out in rage as he held out both of his hands up as they could hear the dagger come right back to them as Red Death put his own plan into motion
Without giving the enemy a chance to react he ran right at Cicada as Red Death jumped into the air and brought down his fist as Cicada was sent flying back
Kate jumped down from the roof and landed in front of Cicada as he recovered from the punch to the face as he spun around and threw a punch to her but she quickly countered as she caught his hand and slowly began to crush his hand as Cicada screamed out in pain as he could feel his bones breaking
The dagger finally came crashing down into the ground as a wave of energy knocked everyone back except for Red Death and Kate as they stood and took the blast of energy and brushed it off as Red Death's suit dematerialized reverting him back to his normal clothes but he didn't care about that
Cicada calls back his dagger to him but Erick catches it before it can even reach him as Cicada struggles to call his dagger back, because as Erick saw it without the dagger..Cicada was just as human as the rest of the meta-humans he has killed
Cicada:
Kate rips off Cicada's mask as she crushes it with her bare hands as she throws Cicada over to Erick as he tackles Cicada to the ground and just starts to punch him repeatedly
Erick with the dagger still in his hand brings the dagger down and stabs Cicada in the shoulder as he screams out in excruciating pain as Erick buries the dagger deeper into Cicada's shoulder
