The next morning, Lu Ning woke up to an endless number of checkups.

Lin Ci and the others were about to start school, while her parents had applied for a month's leave for her; she could not go to school nor walk, so she could only be pushed around by others. She felt her butt hurt from sitting every day.

Lu Ning looked at her bed in despair and turned to look at Huo Jinyan. "Can you bring me out?"

Huo Jinyan had wanted to carry her to bed, but when he heard this, he looked at her. "What's wrong? Are you bored?"

Lu Ning nodded. "I'm going to turn moldy."

Huo Jinyan looked at her and chuckled softly.

"Then I'll ask Mommy and Daddy later before I bring you out, okay?"

Lu Ning pursed her lips and looked at him. "Dad and Mom won't agree to it."
