Capítulo 205: CHAPTER {309-311}

****INTERNATIONAL-INCIDENT? (IV)****

Emanuel visually frowned at her statement, but internally he simply smiled. Unlike Amelia Bones, he was not a fighter, but he was a pure politician… Amelia was a blunt woman. He could appreciate that, but in politics, being blunt was a curse. Emanuel knew he could exploit that as long as he could dictate the direction of the conversation.

"The point is, the ICW is afraid that Wizarding Britain is completely out of control and foreign intervention might be necessary" Emanuel revealed with a sympathetic look on his face. "The recent Dementor attack in Muggle London could have been a shit storm if the Muggles hadn't come up with their own explanation" Emanuel added.

Amelia couldn't help but frown at his words… He was still beating around the bush. However, there was something in his words that caught inside her mind. "Is the ICW planning to encourage other countries to invade us?" Amelia accused in a bewildered tone. Is that what ICW was planning?

However, Emanuel looked aghast at her accusation even though it was completely fake. Even someone as politically dumb as Amelia could see that. "No. No. That is not our intention. Not in the slightest… How could the ICW allow something like that?" Emanuel asked, shaking his head in denial.

"No, what we want is to help you. It is clear that Wizarding Britain can no longer handle the matters as they are" Emanuel smoothly explained while the others nodded their heads in agreement.

Meanwhile, Amelia clutched her hands under the table… They might be using flowery words, but the gist was basically the same. The ICW was simply taking over their country in a legal way, but Amelia wasn't sure if the ICW could even do that. "Is that even legal?" Amelia asked with a frown.

"Not to worry" Emanuel smiled sweetly and pulled out a couple of parchments from his robes and placed them over the table. "Please take a look at Article 34, subsection III" Emanuel pointed out. Amelia picked up the parchments and took a look just like Emanuel had asked her to.

\In case a Wizarding Community is no longer capable of protecting the Statute of Secrecy and the rightful Authority is unable to dispose of the threats, the ICW retains the Authority to intervene and provide support until the threats are dealt with\ Amelia finished reading the part that was highlighted with a disbelieving look on her face.

'Wait? That's it?' Amelia asked herself. Yes, she could see how they could use this rule to justify their takeover but wasn't this stretching it quite a bit since all Wizarding Communities were constantly facing the danger of exposure? In her humble opinion, it was pure bullshite.

'No matter how much you decorate a pile of shite, it would still be a pile of shite' Amelia griped unhappily inside her mind.

Amelia placed the parchments down on the table before she leveled him with an even look. "So, what now? Is the ICW going to take over the Ministry?" Amelia asked bluntly. There was no reason to beat around the bush anymore. Their intentions were clear, but she wanted to see how far they were willing to push. They were using the danger to Statute as an excuse to forward their agenda, whatever that was.

"Minister Bones, it seems like we got off the wrong foot. I am not your enemy. None of us are… Harry Potter is the enemy. Gellert Grindelwald and his followers are the enemy. The Dark Lord Voldemort and his followers are the enemy" Emanuel explained passionately. If she didn't know better then she would have believed him.

The way he was speaking and the way he was acting 'seemed' completely genuine, but the keyword being 'seemed'.

"If the ICW is really worried about the Statute then where were they during the last War? Voldemort came this close to breaking the Statute multiple times" Amelia asked as she narrowed her eyes. She knew that she wasn't going to get a straight answer, but she had to try.

Once again, Emanuel simply smiled at her question. He had been expecting this question. "To be honest, the ICW never considered Voldemort to be a threat" Emanuel sighed in fake disappointment. The truth was that a lot of countries sympathized with Voldemort's cause even though they never advocated it openly, but their voices were still powerful enough to prevent the ICW from acting against Lord Voldemort.

Emanuel wasn't one of them personally, but he knew that the Italian Government silently supported his cause. Both France and Bulgaria also held similar sentiments even though there were divided opinions here and there. However, now Voldemort was starting to become a threat, his recent attack on Muggle London was foolish and reckless. The ICW cared about the Statute more than anything else.

His recent attack was foolish enough to break the camel's back. The ICW had overlooked him during the last War but now it was deemed that he was way too dangerous to be left alive. He was a loose cannon and they had been lucky that the Muggles managed to come up with their own story or they would have been forced to act. If left alone then he might try something even more foolish and reckless.

The ICW couldn't risk that… He needed to be dealt with… and as for Gellert Grindelwald and Harry Potter, they were a threat because of what they represented.

The ICW and the various Wizarding Communities could only maintain law and order due to their power and their forces, but both Potter and Grindelwald were simply beyond that… Neither of them could be kept under control. Unfortunately, they were not like Dumbledore or they could have dealt with them easily.

To be honest, the ICW wanted to avoid any sort of confrontation with Potter… The ICW wasn't foolish enough to believe that they could defeat Potter and Grindelwald together. The ICW was still recovering from the blow Grindelwald dealt them half a century ago and Potter was supposedly stronger than Voldemort, Grindelwald, and Dumbledore combined.

They couldn't deal with something like that, but they had to be dealt with somehow… Emanuel already had a plan for that and for that to happen, he needed to arrange a meeting with Potter… The Bulgarians weren't aware of this plan, but what they didn't know wasn't going to hurt them…

Except for Grindelwald, the other titans were all born in Britain, Emanuel couldn't understand how that was possible… 'There must be something in their water' Emanuel mused in amusement…

Now getting back to the topic at hand… He could have revealed the truth to Amelia, but he knew that she was a hardass and uptight person. There was no way she would agree with him if he revealed that the ICW was willing to cut a deal with Potter. That was the reason why he had to talk around in circles.

Meanwhile, Amelia simply stared at him before giving she decided 'fuck them'. "Alright. You are free to deal with Voldemort, Potter and Grindelwald and in any way you want, but don't expect me to send my Aurors and Hit-Wizards into the meat grinder" Amelia finished and decided to wash her hands with them.

If they were foolish enough to poke the dragon, they could deal with the fiery aftermath…

****WHAT-LIES-AHEAD (II)****

The next time Silvia woke up, she found herself lying on a comfortable bed instead of the hard wooden floor with her sister in her arms. Alarm bells started to ring inside her mind, but she quickly crushed her panic. It was still the same apartment they were in last night, but now the apartment was filled with furniture.

The apartment wasn't anything to write home about, but it was quite cozy and it was much better than any apartment she had ever lived in… Silvia stared at the sleeping face of her sister and gently brushed her hair. For the first time in weeks, her baby sister was finally sleeping peacefully.

Silvia slowly extracted herself from the bed, not wanting to ruin her sister's sleep and walked up to the window. She stared outside the window in awe… For the first time in weeks, she was feeling the warmth of sunlight on her skin and it felt amazing. She could see weirdly dressed people bustling around down the street.

'It must be them' Silvia internally growled. After all, according to Potter, they were in the States and she was pretty certain that people in the States didn't wear robes unless they were Wizards. Silvia didn't like Magicals and her reasons were pretty valid considering what she experienced for the past couple of weeks, but for the time being, she was willing to keep an open mind.

From what she had seen, Harry Potter was nothing like Mulciber even though he was not a knight in shining armor… He stood there with an amused look on his face while she tortured Mulciber before she killed him and he was just a kid. From what she could guess, he was probably somewhere around 14 or 16 and he was already a killer.

He was a killer, there was no doubt about that in her mind… Silvia could see that in his eyes and he wasn't one of those battle-hardened killers, no, he was one of those casual killers. In her line of work, Silvia had seen killers almost regularly and casual killers were the most dangerous kind of killers out there.

They could kill anyone as easily as breathing…

Silvia almost jumped when someone knocked on the door. Her mind started to race in panic, drawing scenarios upon scenarios. "It's me, Harry" A voice called out from the other side of the door and Silvia practically sighed in relief. The voice was familiar, so she walked up to the door and peeked through the peephole.

Sure enough, a familiar black-haired and green-eyed teenager was standing outside the door. She unlocked the door and let him in before giving her sister another look. Her sister was still peacefully asleep and she hoped that she would keep sleeping until Harry was gone.

"You don't want her to wake up, do you?" Harry asked as he pulled out a Wand and she immediately looked alarmed. "Don't worry, I am simply going to cast Sleeping Charm on her with your permission" Harry elaborated. Sleeping Charm was kind of self-explanatory and she didn't think he was going to harm her. If he really wanted to harm them then he wouldn't need to do that in such a roundabout way.

Silvia simply gave him a silent nod is assent and a mild yellow beam came out of his Wand and struck her sister. Her sister simply purred and nuzzled comfortably into the bed. 'Well, that is a good sign' Silvia told herself as she stared at her sister before turning back at Harry.

"Let's talk inside" Harry pointed out and she sheepishly stepped back, realizing that they were still standing in front of the door. Soon, Silvia found herself sitting on the couch along with Harry and she had to admit, it was quite a comfortable couch.

"How did you sleep?" Harry asked in a soft tone.

"Good enough" Silvia answered. To be honest, after she fell asleep last night she didn't feel anything until she woke up again.

"I hope you weren't weirded out by all the furniture when you woke up" Harry commented airily and not knowing how to react to that, Silvia simply shrugged. "You are probably hungry, right?" Harry asked, changing the topic and just then, her stomach decided to betray her, but before she could say anything, a steaming bowl of soup appeared on the table in front of them.

"You can make food with Magic?" Silvia gasped in surprise, completely forgetting about her embarrassment.

"Not really" Harry answered noncommittally. "Last night, we didn't get much time to chat" Harry pointed out before he completely leaned back on his couch. "So, what's your story? You told me you were here for your sister's interview, I don't know anything besides that" Harry asked.

Silvia frowned at his question and looked contemplative for a moment before she finally picked up the soup bowl. She was hungry, alright. Mulciber never fed them well. "There is not much to say. We were never well off and that is why this job was such a big deal. Our parents died when we were still small and we lost our house due to debt" Silvia paused and took a sip from the soup bowl.

'Fuck! This is nice' Silvia commented inside her mind before taking another sip.

"I started to work for the mafia as I needed to take care of our sister. I used to smuggle drugs and guns around the city as cops rarely checked children walking down the street with school bags. By the time I was twelve, I was quite used to watching people die, so I joined the cleaning crew since I didn't want to end up in a whorehouse or a strip club" Silvia paused again so that she could savor the soup.

"The boss was a nice man and he helped me send my sister to a boarding school. I wanted a different life for her. I wasn't rich or anything, but I earned enough to send her to college. She graduated with nice marks and then here we are" Silvia finished and continued to savor the soup.

"Cleaning crew?" Harry asked with interest.

"Yes, we cleaned bodies and took care of them. Death was pretty common in the underworld, and when there was a body, we were called to get rid of it and clean the scene" Silvia explained. Harry nodded his head in understanding. He realized that maybe that was why she was so calm and level-headed.

"You don't need a cleaning crew, do you?" Silvia asked with a frown, only for him to shake his head with a smile on his face. "Magic is pretty convenient, I guess" Silvia admitted with a grimace.

"I never needed to get rid of a body in my life. Power makes life really easy… You see, not everyone is born equal in the Magical World. Most are born to be average, just cannon fodder, but some of them rise above that through hard work and skill. However, sometimes people like me are born. We are considered Titans…" Harry trailed off with a smile.

"Currently, there are four of us, but one of them works for me, another one is my prisoner, and the last one is simply alive because I am playing around with him. Let's leave it at that for now, you will learn more since you will be working for us" Harry said as he stood up and stretched himself.

"Oh… Give me your hand" Harry requested politely extending his own hand in her direction…

****WHAT-LIES-AHEAD (III)****

Silvia gave him her hand, looking confused. He placed his index finger on the back of her wrist and she felt her skin tingle for a moment before a mark appeared on her skin. 'Did he brand me?' Silvia questioned herself, but instead of getting angry, she was simply curious.

After all, this wasn't the only brand she was carrying on her skin… Previously, she was marked with a tattoo when she joined the mafia to signify that she was one of them and then later, she received another one when she joined the Cleaning Crew to signify that she was part of that particular group.

"I call it Sigil of the Lost" Harry answered before she could ask him anything. "You are the first mundane to receive one of these, so I had to tweak it a bit so that it could work without Magic" Harry continued to explain. "Just think about making it disappear and it will disappear" Harry requested and just like he said, the mark disappeared.

Without urging, she tried to bring it back and reappeared again… "Is there something else it can do?" Silvia asked with an excited glint in her eyes. Her introduction was traumatic and cruel, but she was starting to enjoy Magic.

"Not much for the time being. You would be able to send me small messages if you concentrated enough and I will be able to teleport you to me if you are knocked out or something and finally, I will be able to keep track of you" Harry finished and just like he expected, Silvia grimaced at the last function, but didn't complain.

"Can you give one to my sister too?" Silvia asked in a hopeful tone. She wasn't happy about him being able to track her, but the rest of the functions were really useful.

"I will eventually when she is healthy enough" Harry answered dismissively. The woman was terrified of Magic and he didn't need to be a genius to guess how she was going to react to having a Magical tattoo on her arm after waking up.

"...Okay" After a small pause, Silvia accepted his dismissal even though she was disappointed.

"By the way, there is something else we need to discuss" Harry started to speak again. "The two of you are not well so I was planning to send one of my female Healers to check you guys" Harry explained and Silvia seemed to frown at his words with an unsure look on her face.

Silvia would agree that both of them needed some medical attention. Their emotional scars weren't going to heal anytime soon, but they were at least going to be physically fit. "Alright. So when are you going to send her?" Silvia asked curiously.

"It depends" Harry answered noncommittally. "Before I am going to send anyone, you need to explain everything to your sister and calm her down. As soon as you are done, send me a word through the Mark and I will send her over" Harry explained and Silvia nodded her head in understanding.

"Can you wait for a day?" Silvia requested. She wasn't sure how her sister was going to react at the mention of Magic, so she decided to take her time and ease her into their new life.

Harry simply shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever is fine with you" Harry answered dismissively. For the time being, the members of Lost Garden were visiting brothels to have some fun. Giving Silvia a couple of days extra to regain her bearings wasn't going to hurt him and it wasn't like she would be able to handle the responsibility by herself.

"Alright. That was all for now" Harry rolled his shoulders and opened a portal, leading to the Malfoy manor, but before he could step through, Silvia called out to him, stopping him in his tracks.

"...I have a request" Silvia said, shifting uncomfortably on the couch. Harry wondered if the woman was trying to take advantage of his generosity, but nonetheless, he decided to at least listen to her request. So he simply gestured for her to keep talking. "Can you-" Silvia paused before taking a deep breath.

"Can you take me back to Russia? We wouldn't be staying for long. With your Portal it will probably take us minutes" Silvia pleaded with a desperate look on her face.

"Why?" Harry asked curiously.

"I am-I am a mother, you see. I want to see how my children are doing. They probably think I am already dead" Silvia revealed with a pained look on her face. "I will just see them for far" Silvia added hurriedly as she really wanted to convince him to take her to Russia.

"Children?" Harry asked with a hint of interest in his voice.

"Yeah" Silvia admitted with a longing smile on her face. "Piotr and Illyana…" Silvia trailed off and a couple of tears trickled out of her eyes before she quickly wiped them off. She missed them. She missed them so much.

Harry could sympathize with her so he decided to grant her request. "Sorry, I won't be able to take you there myself, but I will send one of my followers to take you there" Harry finished and Silvia beamed at him with a grateful smile on her face. She really wanted to throw herself into his arms, but she somehow managed to stop herself as she wasn't sure if he was going to appreciate such a gesture.

Casual killers killed for even lesser offenses, so she decided not to take any chances…

"Alright. I gotta go now. I am quite busy these days" Harry said and finally stepped through the Portal while giving her a wave. The Portal closed behind his back, leaving him alone in his office. All of his plans were almost finished. Currently, Voldemort was raging after learning about the demise of his followers.

He would have loved to kill a few more followers tonight, but he had others for the night. He was going to let them stew in fear for a couple of days before striking again, but right now, he decided to pay a visit to the Vampires in his basement. They were stewing inside that cell for more than a week.

'There is an emergency'

Harry froze in his tracks when he received a message from Nigel.

'What is it, Nigel?' Harry asked in return.

'There is someone who wants to meet you' Nigel replied after a moment and Harry furrowed his brow at the message. Nigel wouldn't have said it wasn't an emergency if it wasn't important, but he couldn't think of anyone important trying to reach out to him.

He realized that he needed to postpone his meeting with the Vampires…
