With lightning speed, I acted to protect Ayumi from the attacking Jonin. Rushing forward, I delivered a powerful kick to his chest, sending him hurtling backward. Following up by slashing my kunai down, I watched as his hands moved to grab my hand before it even moved. And as he began to move, I sped up my attack, slamming my kunai into his shoulder. From the corner of my eye, I could see the remaining ninja moving their hands as they all took a breath in and shot out multiple fireballs. Dashing back, I used a substitute to escape it and as I reappeared a few steps back I witnessed the fireballs merged into a large fireball that soared towards Ayumi, its searing heat moving close to her as time seemed to slow down. At that moment, I activated the power of my evolved sharingan, summoning the protective barrier of Susanoo around her. The shimmering blue aura of the protective shield encased Ayumi, shielding her from harm and giving her the chance to escape the danger.
The air crackled with energy as Susanoo's barrier materialized, its shimmering surface radiating with an otherworldly glow. With a surge of chakra, I reinforced the barrier, strengthening its protective shell to withstand the intense heat and force of the incoming fireball.
Time seemed to slow to a crawl as the fireball collided with Susanoo's barrier, sending waves of heat and pressure rippling through the air. The barrier held strong against the onslaught, absorbing the brunt of the impact and dispersing the flames harmlessly. I could feel something wet on my face, but I ignored it.
As the dust settled and the threat was neutralized, a wave of relief washed over me, knowing that Ayumi was safe within the protective embrace of Susanoo. I returned my attain to the soon to be dead rogue ninjas.
With a cold determination in my eyes, I activated my other Mangekyo Sharingan ability, Tsukuyomi's Embrace. Locking eyes with the rogue ninjas, I plunged them into a nightmarish realm of illusion and despair.
In this twisted reality, time seemed to slow to a crawl, stretching the moments into an eternity of agony. Within the depths of Tsukuyomi's Embrace, I easily manipulated the environment, warping the perception of my targets and subjecting them to unspeakable horrors. Making them live what seemed like years of me torturing them, which was only a few seconds.
As they writhed in agony, trapped within the confines of my genjutsu, I pushed them to the brink of their sanity, inflicting both mental and physical strain with each passing moment.
But even as I reveled in the power of Tsukuyomi's Embrace, I could feel my chakra rapidly draining away, leaving me weak and vulnerable. As I felt wetness on my face and as I touched it and lifted it up, I saw blood. With each passing second, the strain of maintaining the genjutsu grew more intense, And I felt more blood coming from my eyes and nose.
Knowing that I couldn't hold on much longer, I focused all of my remaining strength into one final push, intensifying the illusion with every ounce of chakra I had left. With a surge of willpower, I pushed the rogue ninjas to the brink of their breaking point, leaving them on the verge of collapse.
As the genjutsu began to unravel and reality came crashing back in around us, I stumbled backward, my body trembling with exhaustion. But even as I fought to maintain my composure, now I just needed to bring them to Ayumi and let her drain them.
As I struggled to maintain my balance, my body racked with exhaustion and pain, I realized the gravity of the situation. Ayumi lay bleeding on the ground, her life ebbing away with each passing moment. With a sense of urgency, I knew I had to act quickly to save her.
Summoning what little strength remained within me, I dragged the rogue Jonin's body towards Ayumi, her form growing fainter with each passing second. With a desperate determination, I placed the Jonin's body beside her, knowing that she needed his life force to survive.
As Ayumi's weakened form stirred, her eyes flickering open with a faint glimmer of recognition, Izumi could see the struggle in her gaze. With a silent plea, she urged Ayumi to draw upon the rogue Jonin's chakra. With a trembling hand, Izumi helped Ayumi by placing her head close to his neck. Ayumi opened her mouth weakly, drool sliding out as she bit into his neck, siphoning his chakra. The yellow-like slime coming out of her chest where she was stabbed began to recede, but something was wrong. Scales were forming all around her pale body, and her eyes became slitted and glowing a light blue.
As the last vestiges of the rogue Jonin's life force faded away, Ayumi's strength returned, and her wounds began to heal before Izumi's eyes. With a primal smile, looking up at me, I watched as a horn made of chakra formed on the top of her head. She let out a high-pitched primal roar, her voice echoing through the air like thunder. The sound reverberated off the walls of the port hideout, the very ground seemed to tremble beneath her.
As Ayumi's transformation continued, her body underwent a profound metamorphosis, her chakra surging and enveloping her entire form with a deep blue-colored chakra. The horn atop her head glowed with an ethereal light, casting a radiant aura around her. Her eyes, now glowing a brilliant blue, seemed to pierce through the darkness with newfound clarity and purpose.
With each movement, Ayumi's body seemed to ripple with power, her muscles bulging as her features became more pronounced. The air crackled with energy as she unleashed her primal roar, the sound echoing like thunder throughout the port hideout. The ground trembled beneath her, a testament to the raw strength coursing through her veins.
As Ayumi's attention shifted toward the remaining rogue ninjas, her gaze filled with hunger. With lightning speed, she lunged toward the nearest enemy, her fangs sinking into their flesh as she drained them of their chakra. Each strike was swift and precise, her movements fluid and calculated as she absorbed their chakra.
But just as Ayumi seemed to reach the pinnacle of her transformation, a sudden flash of bright white light erupted from the necklace she wore, the one that belonged to her grandfather. Tendrils of light came from the necklace and grabbed her, forcing her body to the ground. The light enveloped her form, pulsating with a powerful energy that seemed to push back against her transformation.
With a gasp, Ayumi staggered backward, her body convulsing as the light washed over her. The intense radiance seemed to seep into her very being, dispersing the chakra that had engulfed her and restoring her to her normal state.
Izumi watched in awe as Ayumi's transformation was halted, the overwhelming power receding as quickly as it had come. With a deep breath, Ayumi steadied herself, her eyes returning to their usual state as she looked around in confusion, her memory of the events hazy and fragmented.
As the dust settled and the chaos subsided, Izumi couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. Though the ordeal had been harrowing, Ayumi was safe once more.
So what do you think? Did i do good, was it worth the cliff hanger?
