Capítulo 5: Getting out
"Thanks" Naofumi muttered as I looked at him,
"No problem, I was in a similar boat anyway since those guys work for her" I replied as he looked at me.
"I see" he said sighig deeply while pulling his hair a little.
"What do you plan to do now?" I asked as he stopped walking towards the castle gate,
"Get stronger find a way back, but fuck these people up before that" he said glancing back.
I smiled seemed like I wouldn't need to hold his hand.
"I would like to help you but we can't be hunting together." He nodded,
"Its fine you already brought the charges down,but it does put you in a difficult position. Since these people don't like the shield, but they do like the sword."
"Yeah that pope seemed nasty," I said walking away, "Keep your guard up, and try to collect as much info as you can, I will do the same. We will exchange them when we meet. and take some with you pay me back later" I said tossing him some coins.
"I will keep that in mind."
"Oh? my little Naofumi seems to have matured, I am so proud" I spoke as I could see a vein pop up on his forehead.
"Fuck off!" he said storming away.

"I will pay you one silver" The merchant spoke as I was right now negotiating with him on a guard duty.
"Foods on you" I said as he nodded.
There were about two carrigies pulled by Tyrellas. We would leave in about half an hour, so I brought some extra supplies mostly dry rations, and an extra travel bag for my extra clothes and stuff, it was quite windy as we set off.
There were about two more mercenaries with us.
One was called Paul while the other was Jared, they seemed like good guys as they were extremly curious about what had happened in the court even the merchant seemed intrested.
So I told them about it especially the inconsistencies with the stories and how myne tries to avoid the charges.
As I too dug up information from them, as our journey continued.
Melromac was a matriachal kingdom so the queen was the one who held the power while King was lower on the power scale, but she had left the country on a diplomatic mission before the waves, leaving Earl Seatto as the second in command.
But the Earl died battling the first wave, in the south a week ago.
The queen seemed like quite a leader as they all spoke good about her, though their veiws on the noble were mixed, the merchant didn't particualrly care, while both mercenaries didn't like them very much.
Seemed like I had a lot to learn from them.

"My lord what do we do?" the preist asked as the pope looked at him.
"Hmmm..he is quite smart with his dealings he retreated without taking a major loss, plus he is more perceptive than the other three, Keep a long distance watch over him but don't go too near same with the Shield moreover the Shadows seemed to have started moving keep the church tightly locked." The pope instrcuted as the priest nodded.
And went on to carry out his orders.
'We might have to start preparing that' Balmus the pope of the church of three heroes thought about the weapon he had kept hidden.

"To think they would pull such a stunt, while I am away!" Meriella heard the report from her shadow as she looked at the comunicator.
"Seems like I was lot more lenient than I should have been" she spoke as the fan in her hand creacked due to the grip.
"Keep an eye on the heores especially the Sheid and the Sword. The last thing I want is one of them being assasinated that would open a whole new can of worms" she ordered.
"Yes your majesty,"
"And also contact Belokas, Shield hero will need a companion unfortunately the Sword hero has already left I will leave the rest to you." She replied as the shaodw nodded and the queen shut off the comunication.
Sighing deeply she started to think over a plan to salvage the situation since the shit has already hit the fan.
Similarly the rulers of other nations too were reciving the news.
The parliament in Siltvelt and the senate in Shieldfreeden, with the King of Faubrey looking at his shadows that had brought the news over.

The merchant dropped me off at a village called Gertd, It was a small village to the north of the capital just near the forest they called the Kallin Woods.
I currently staying here for the last three days hunting and leveling up.
I reached Level 7 currently.

I was currently standing in the forest surrounded by dead hyena looking beasts, they called them Kahari or something.

I dragged a few bodies skinning them, apparently thier fur was very useful for making high quality carpets.
I ventured back to the village carrying the fur as I nodded to the guard that collected the tax.
Selling the item to the skin trader that was currently going through the village I made quite some profit as I ventured back to the inn only to be greeted by a huge bearded guy towering nearly seven feet extremly mascular with a beauty standing beside him light blue hair coming down to her waist,

"Evening Bernard, miss Elisiya" I greeted the man and the woman who ran this inn.
"Oye Adric, I am winning tonight" the man spoke as I just smirked,
"Oh really you said the same thing yesterday"
"Humph, I wasn't prepared yesterday. I am fully ready today"
"Honey stop!! he just came back from hunting alright let him relax a bit" Elisiya scolded him as I went past him he was level fifty adventurer before so talking shit to him might result in my bodily harm.
Not that my Norlov genes weren't kicking in, It was me just being smart enough.
"What's for dinner?" i asked as I was passing by them to the upper floors.
"Bernard caught few Orlas, from the lake so that's there, boneless of course." Elisiya answered as I looked at Bernard.
"Wow you are useful for once?" tch my damn genes
"Ha ha see! I am Usefu.....Useful for once you say!!!" He took sometime to get up to speed but I had already run into my room.
Guess I will be safe here for now, I kept the silver coin into my savings bag while placing my regualr money bag on the table.
I used copper regualry while silver was for saving.
I changed out of the armour hanging it up since I would need to clean it of all the dirt and blood that got on it.
Thankfully, Bernard taught me how to otherwise I would have been stuck with a smelly one.
Take a bath, relax, eat dinner, sleep and get back on the grind.
I need to atleast reach, Levl 15 before heading back to the capital by that time I think I would have enough repair work for Ernhard to get me a few days off.
