Zion nodded to the archduke and other officials as he listened to their comments, which were both fascinating and exciting to him since he knew what this meant: if he could tame and find the two other beasts, the kingdom would be very safe.

Because he was searching for a beast that could be used for communication and transportation, he knew there was a beast like this in Arzenia, but not all people knew this, just like the Gigant Horse. But Zion knew it because of the remaining preserved books in the mysterious island treasury. When he was reading, he discovered books about beasts and monsters, which made him excited.

This is also one of the reasons he wishes to locate a continent to transport supplies.
