Good afternoon mom Natalia shouted grinning as soon as she sighted her Mom.
Good afternoon princess,I suppose something good happened in school today huh Bertha queried.
Well something of that sort...I will be right back after washing up I stink Natalia told Bertha as she sped to her room.
Alright Bertha called after her.
After washing up and eating Natalia gave her mom a summary of what happened in school during sports hours.
Oh my God,you are telling me all that was a surprise just for him to have a fast one on you guys Bertha asked chuckling.
Yes mom we won though that all that matters....I almost embarrassed myself but my friends were there to cheer me up Natalia said with a dreamy look on her face.
Friends? Cheer you up? is there something you are leaving out sweetie Bertha asked with a knowing look.
Come on mom there is nothing else Natalia defended herself.
I didn't say there was anything I only asked a question honey unless there is something you are hiding Bertha asked with a brow raised up to tease her daughter.
Mommy Natalia whined stop it.
I love the change am seeing in you Natalia keep it up....don't go shutting your friends out because of your introverted nature give them a chance Bertha said as she grabbed her hands and place a kiss on them.
Live your life right Natalia you are home now...you don't have to hide anything from mommy and daddy.We are her to guide and support you honey Bertha advice her lovingly.
I understand mom Natalia released her hands as she hugged her mom.
Hey what about me mom Austin called out from the door.
Welcome home buddy Natalia stood up to give him a hug.
I guess I will have to forgive you again this time for taking my spot kiddo...I missed you Austin said as he gave her a peck.
I missed you too general Austin..where is my own hug Bertha asked.
My lady forgive this stupid servant of yours Austin said in a dramatic voice as he took her hand and kissed her knuckles.
Alright that's enough now Natalia said as she tickled him.
Capítulo 29: Hidden feelings
Away from the Andrews mansion...Richard was seen washing up in his bathroom after returning from the camp.
While thinking about the conservation he had with Austin the other day he reminded himself that he was supposed to keep his feelings a secret knowing fully well that he would be turned down.
After he got out of the bathtub,he wrapped his towel around his waist as he made for the door.
Thinking about Natalia each day had him breaking down on the inside but he couldn't make it known.
Alright this is stupid he berated himself.
Why don't I just visit her this weekend and ask her out he asked no one in particular.
No don't it will be too awkward if she refuse he told himself.
looking into the mirror as he assured himself that it was better to keep his feelings hidden if he wanted to continue to have a good relationship with the Andrews.
The next day during lunch break George was nowhere to be seen.
Are you sure he is not in the rest room Natalia asked Shawn for the umpteenth time.
No ma'am I have checked already Shawn answered.
Why don't you go find him yourself Lia maybe he is staying away due to some reasons he can't share Natalia chipped in silently.
Is there something I have to know Natalia asked suspiciously.
Go find him Lia,I think you already know where he would be so stop lying to yourself Shawn decided to come clean.
My best guess is in the library Natalia answered Shawn.
Why don't you go check out the Library Lia we will cover for you guys in class Natalia said patiently.
You guys are really freaking me out here what's going on Natalia asked the both of them.
That question should be for him Lia...go find your man Shawn encouraged her.
My man? Shawn, just what are you guys up to Natalia asked.
