As Meredith and Helena laid in bed with Cristina, the shorter girl asked, a notebook in front of her.
"So what are your other symptoms?"
"Ok, there's the father thing, the mother thing, the sister thing..." Meredith answered, Cristina and the brunette looking at the book in front of them. "The dying and coming back to life thing."
"You have too many things." Cristina answered, the shorter girl giggling.
"I can't sleep. I can't sleep without the dreaming." Meredith explained.
"And the panic attacks?" The Asian asked.
"One panic attack."
"Still." Helena told her.
"Ok, so, what's wrong with me?"
"As far a I can tell... severe abandonment issues." Helena revealed, looking up from the book.
Meredith made a face. "It's crap. Physic is crap."
"It's only crap cause we aren't actual therapists, Mer." Helena laughed. "Honestly, maybe a therapist could help you."
"Issues?" Meredith asked, somewhat ignoring what the Portuguese girl had told her.
"I mean, it's in the book." Cristina explained.
"Yeah, the book said it, not us."
"Have you considered maybe you and Derek should...stop having break up sex?" The older woman asked.
At Meredith's face, Helena spoke up again. "Ok, fine, but then you don't get to comment on me and Mark."
"The more available he gets, the more I pull away." The blond said, looking up at the ceiling.
"What do you mean?" Cristina asked her.
"Nothing. It's a Derek thing."
Sharing a look with Cristina, Helena agreed, nodding. "You have too many things."
——
"So now Meredith is asking us to psychoanalyze her or something because she can't stop having breakup sex." Helena explained and she and Mark walked down the hallway.
"Is that Hahn?" Mark asked, motioning toward where the Chief, Derek and the new attending were standing.
"Cristina said something about her being the new head of cardio, I think." The couple started walking towards the group, Helena stealing Mark's coffee to take a sip, soon giving it back. "Let's go say hi."
"This is Dr. Mark Sloan, head of plastics and Dr. Helena Campos, one of our finest first year residents." The Chief presented, proudly. "Sloan, Campos, this is Dr. Hahn."
"It's a pleasure, Dr. Hahn." Helena smiled up at the attending. The woman looked at the resident with a slightly snobby look, as the girl raised her hand. Hahn seemed to think for a second before shaking it.
As she moved on to shake Mark's hand, he commented. "Ah, the new Burke."
"Welcome." Derek wished before walking away with the couple. "Excuse us."
As the three walked down the hall, Helena turned to the men.
"Did she not like me? She seemed like she didn't like me." The short girl said, a bit disturbed.
"I don't know, Lee." Mark answered.
"Well, why didn't she like me? People like me, I'm nice." She pouted a bit, Mark chuckling a bit as Derek spoke up.
"Richard invited me to a gentlemen's evening. Do you wanna come?"
At that, Helena's face grew red and her eyes widened, as she muttered. "Ok, I do wanna be here for this. Have a good day." She wished as she left.
"What exactly do you mean by a gentleman's evening?" Mark asked, a knowing smirk on his face.
"I don't know. It's a... evening. With gentlemen." Derek shrugged.
"And strippers?" Mark asked.
"I don't... I don't think the Chief meant strippers."
"Sounds like strippers. Wait, did Lee think it meant strippers too?" Mark stopped for a second, the girls reaction in his mind. "Oh, she definitely thought it meant strippers." He panicked a bit, thinking to himself how much explaining he'd have to do later.
——
As Helena followed Mark to the pit, being in plastics for the day, the man asked Callie.
"I hear you have a broken nose down here."
Both stopped in their track, finding two women holding onto a dress. At that, Helena's head titled a bit as her eyes brows furrowed. "Hum, why are the patient's holding a bloody dress?"
"It's not about the dress!" One of the women said aggressively, Helena's brows shooting up slightly.
"Can't they... can't they just split the prize?" Callie asked, clearly exasperated, to a man with a name tag saying 'Judge'.
"I offered. I offered that 14 hours ago..." He sighed, as Helena moved to look at the girls' facial lacerations.
"It's a 100.000 dollar wedding package and I'm not splitting it with anyone!" The blond patient yelled, Callie, Helena and Mark sharing a look.
Just then, George walked in, his voice a bit disappointed as he said. "Oh, you're bleeding on the dress..."
"It's not about the dress!" Everyone snapped, making the boy jump.
"I'm going to have to stabilize that shoulder somehow..." Callie said, as Helena finished cleaning out one of the wounds.
"I'll grab a sling." Alex offered, leaving the room.
