With his focus all on the words that left Mystia's mouth, it was no surprise that Valyr was immediately left at a loss for words after hearing that he was her third disciple.

Though he knew that he would benefit a lot if he were to become her third disciple, the young man remained skeptical, looking around the room for a bit before asking her to make sure.

"Is your third disciple in here at the moment?"

"Yeah." She nodded.

"Are they in some part of the room that I can't see?"

"No." Mystia shook her head as she briefly pointed at the young man. "I wouldn't have called you my third disciple for no reason, no?"

Of course, that response just confused Valyr even more, even though he was somewhat excited to become the disciple of the one called the Imperial Alchemist.
