For better or for worse, the following days went by with little of note. Although Sabrina continued to monitor events in the duchy, most days only brought relatively uneventful news about the minor nobility. It seemed that, at least for now, other major players were still biding their time and not showing their hands just yet.
On the other side of things though, the Calanthian was similarly calm. With the feral vampire taken care of, it quickly became clear that not a single other creature dared make its nest near the now-dead apex predator. It left the ruins in a peaceful, if not slightly haunting, state where only the occasional drops of moisture would disturb the otherwise complete silence.
Sorry for the delay in posting... I got distracted by reading a good novel.... woopsie. In general though, this is probably closer to the time I'll post chapters because it's closer to when I typically have time to start working on writing. I don't really have a specific schedule though. So long as I get out a chapter per day, I'm happy. Sorry if my messy uplode schedule is an ussue though.
Anywayyyy, next chapter will be tackling what's going on with Bessie so that should be fun. And, as always, I hope you're having a wonderful day!
