NATALIE'S P.O.V

Maverick stared at me after he took off the veil letting it fall to the back of my head. His blue eyes were penetrating through me. It was like his eyes said so many things I didn't understand. As much as I hate to say it, he made me scared and safe all at once by just staring at me. I wanted him to stop staring because it also made me angry, but a stupid part of me wanted him to continue looking. And I didn't want him to kiss me too or do anything of such but the way he stared, I was giving in, that stupid part of me kept screaming "kiss me! Kiss me! Kiss me!" It was annoying. If that part of me was a person, I would have beaten her because we are supposed to be teaming up together hating on Maverick. I am also sure our families were waiting for him to kiss me. In fact, someone like my brother, Andrew, and Abby, my best friend, was actually anticipating the kiss. As if they are the ones in my shoes.

Those two will suit if they get married.
