Capítulo 122: Herena's Reasons

Herena was temporarily unable to talk. She soon enlarged her eyes and opened her mouth, but she was still unable to speak.

Her heart started to beat so quickly that it seemed like it was going to burst.

Time seemed to be passing more slowly than before, she thought. Yet it was her strong fiancé who had previously cornered her against the wall while she was leaning over to collect her breath.

But, the longer she stares into those golden eyes, the more captivated she is by them. Calus is intently observing her, and he can even see in his gaze that many questions are running through her head.

No, she has to restrain herself.

As the seconds passed, she finally turned away from the young man and closed her mouth in a narrow, fine line while looking elsewhere.

Calus's eyes widened unavoidably. In spite of the fact that he is closely observing Herena and his actions, she continues to strike him as unpredictable.
