"Hey, babe! Miss me already?" Callum's grinning face on the screen asks my mate flirtatiously, and I force myself to act naturally when Storm laughs and replies, "You wish. I want to talk to you."

"Do you? Where's your hot mate?"

I move into the camera range, scowling when he grins at me. "Oh, hello, Handsome." He shifts his eyes to Storm. "Is he always this scowly or is it my delectable charm bringing out the frowns?"

"It's because you're annoying," Storm assures him, but it only makes him grin.

"Now, what do you want to talk to me about? I'm all ears."

Storm gestures for me to start talking.

"Kai wants to ask you some questions."

He arched a brow. "Okay, Handsome. Shoot."

I decide to go straight to the point. "Where else have you seen the abominations before two days ago at the pawn shop?"

Something shifts in his eyes, and he looks shocked for a tiny second before smoothening his features again into a nonchalant expression. "What do you mean?"
