Capítulo 223: Very Optional Assignment

On the carriage ride to school, Jessica was holding onto me, almost as though I would fly away if she let go. Though to be fair, that did basically happen last time so it wasn't exactly an unfounded concern.

Still, it wasn't like being whisked away all of a sudden was a normal occurrence, so getting to school itself was fine.

Before I even got to class, Raisa had run up to me, almost like I would be dead if she didn't.

"Bryson! Are you ok?"

I blinked a few times, before shrugging my shoulders.

"I feel ok, so yeah."

She let out a long sigh, reaching out to give me a hug.

"You were gone for so long... I thought that something must've happened to you."

Well, something did happen to me. However in the end, by some miracle, it ended up fine.

"But I'm here, so it could only be so bad."

Raisa let go of me and took a step back. There was a small smile on her face.
