Keith appeared a bit surprised about my sudden acceptance. His awkwardness was further amplified when he turned around and began walking silently. I simply followed along, deciding to see what he wanted to talk about.
Considering our first encounter, I was a little confused about why he wasn't a little more hostile, but it wasn't as though it was a bad thing.
Eventually, we did come across his treehouse. It consisted mostly of what looked like hardened leaves with faintly glowing glyphs over top of them. From what I recall, there was no kind of magic like this mentioned in the game.
Keith climbed up and pressed his hand against the door, causing it to open up. I remained on the ground for a little while, thinking about how to climb. It wasn't as though I couldn't, but rather that it would be hard to do so without at least dirtying the dress I was in.
This time, Sophia wasn't here to just carry me.
Keith looked down at me with pursed lips.
What? I'm not mean!
