Capítulo 149: Comfort

After she asked me why I favored her, I was kinda stunlocked. To be honest, I wasn't prepared to answer that kind of question. While trying to think of an answer, I scratched the side of my head.

In the end, it was Minori that spoke up first.

"Did we get along in most of the futures we saw?"

A bitter smile formed on my face.

"Well... not exactly. Most of our encounters include us fighting against one another. In fact, I've killed you in quite a few of them, as I told you before."

Minori looked at me strangely.

"So... we don't have a good relationship?"

I took a deep breath.

"Well, in all of those futures, I actually went a little bit crazy because of some special circumstances. Naturally, I made a few decisions to sidestep that insanity."

Minori let out a small sigh of relief with a hand above her heart.

"Ah, that's good. If you also wouldn't talk to me, then I don't know what I would've done... Was there something that I did in the future that made you want to talk to me?"
