I rested my head back, without caring all that much. After all, There was no way in hell that I was going to get promoted. I mean, one of the required points was from the magic teacher, and frankly, there wasn't a chance I would get one as someone that ranked thirteenth on the last test.

In the actual game, there was actually nobody that ended up being promoted from any of the first years at all. However, that was also considered a fairly normal thing. Naturally, that meant that neither Natan nor Bryson would normally be able to get a promotion. In fact, the earliest you would be able to get a promotion in the game was after an entire year.

And to be honest, it wasn't a very worthwhile trade, since you would have to spend almost all your time studying math and English. Though, that would probably be different now, since those two major bottlenecks were immediately surpassed since he now had the mind of someone from the modern world.
