Capítulo 39: Damaged Product

Gemma slowly nodded as she looked at the path that Miguel pointed.

"Thanks."

Miguel gave her a curt nod, he reached out and helped her to open her side of the door.

"Goodbye Gemma."

"Goodbye Miguel."

She felt pain inside her as she said those words. This would be the last time that both of them will be this close.

The moment she is crossed over to her father's side of the territory, they are back to being enemies.

Gemma got out of the car and slowly walked the path that led to her father's mansion.

When she turned back to look at Miguel, he was already gone. Gemma knew he was trying to avoid being seen by her father's soldiers.

Gemma held her injured arm as she walked. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest when she heard the click of a gun from behind her.

"Don't turn if you don't want me to blow your brains out!" Came a very mean voice Gemma recognized to belong to one of her father's soldiers.
