The library's scent filled her nose as soon as she stepped in, and it was relaxing and enticing; she felt like she could sleep there.
There was no sign of Cyrus anywhere, and then she heard a snarl from behind her. She turned to see the nine-tailed fox, who glared at her before walking into the library.
He came to a halt and looked back at her as if to say, "Are you going to sleep there? Follow me." Then he turned away and made his way between two large shelves.
Sage followed him after receiving the cue. As she walked by, she smiled and traced her fingers along the book covers as she pondered the whereabouts of Cyrus. Didn't he say that she should meet him at the library?
He was jealous, Sage recalled, believing that she and Arthur were having a relationship. It was quite surprising and amusing.
Soon, she and Snowflake arrived at the far end of the library, where they stood in front of a handleless door with a circle and a snowflake carved into it.
