It felt suffocating the closer they got to Planet V. 

After the radio transmission, neither one of them had been able to rest. It seemed like existence was comfortable as they waited to see what had happened to the planet they left intact.

Time went unbelievably slow despite how fast the ship they were in moved. It was only when Varya was in Basileus's arms that time seemed to move quickly. It was an unfair trick the universe played whenever they were around each other. 

Theron seemed to be in a similar state as Basileus was. He couldn't even relax since the ship had picked up the pre-downloaded mapping system. His mind was full of the worst-case scenario - a scenario that he had already lived once in his life.
