Journee parked her Jeep and carefully opened her door. She didn't want to make any noise to wake Kay or William up. She opened the door and softly shut it. The moment she turned she shrieked with fear. Not fear of the unknown but the fear of her fathers standing before her.
"Where… were you?" shouted William.
"Um… out!" gulped Journee. She knew if they got angry, they would ground her grown-up ass.
"Why?" asked Kay.
"Uh… fresh air!" she tried to be cute.
"You didn't get fresh air in our garden?" asked Kay.
"I have been couped up for so long, so just wanted to go out," said Journee.
"Stop lying!" snapped William. "Where were you?"
"Went to talk to Agent Harris," said Journee, carefully.
"Excuse me!" shouted both Kay and William.
"Relax! He is fine. I am fine. Everything is fine," said Journee and finally moved inside the house.
"God! What are we going to do with you? Why did you go there?" shouted William.
