Capítulo 81: Oh, you two

The lift kept climbing up. The ice in Henry's hand was all melted. Jack knew that if Journee would see Henry so soon, she will again kick his ass. He kept the atmosphere light with his jokes and Henry even smiled but both were concerned about what Journee might do next.

The lift door opened and both Jack and Henry came out. Both exhaled a big puff of air together and looked at each other.

"Shall we?" asked Jack.

"You are first!" replied Henry.

"Coward!" chided Jack and stepped forward towards the Gym door. The glass door made everything inside the gym, visible but they could not see Journee. Jack gulped and slightly opened the door. His stupid mind peeped through the door even though it was glass.

Henry slouched his shoulder and rolled his eyes at his stupidity. Well, he knew Jack was not stupid, but rather competent in his work. But he would end up doing stupid things due to fear of Journee. He moved forward and hit Jack on the back of his head.
