Capítulo 27: Chapter 26: The Turning Point of Sadness and Tragedy part 1
[Miko's POV]
Things are getting bizarre very quick.
Not only that I couldn't find any leads to Haruhime in Shirou's memory, I found something unexpected.
I currently confronting my own future self, which is extraordinarily strange to begin with.
She looks quite worn-out and full of battle scars, as if she was fighting for whole life.
And the place where we both are standing at, was her mindscape, which is far worse than mine
She called it as the Plane of Dysthymia, the plane of sadness and tragedy.
Why sadness and tragedy? I have a bad feeling about this.
"So... why did come to me from the future?" I asked her to seek her true intention. Finding the reason for why she travelled to the past.
"I am here to warn you..." She indifferently answers my question.
"Warn me? About what?"
"I warn you.... to not continue the plan to save Haruhime" doubling up the indifferent in her answer. She gave me a warning to not do the one thing I promised to do.
I furrow my brows and frown at her, giving her the look of doubt.
"Why? Why shouldn't I have to save Haruhime? Why must I break the promise I oath to do?" I ask her coldly.
"Because you are not worthy to keep that promise. It's useless" She harshly replied, which made me grimace in frustration.
"What do you mean I am not worthy? How is saving her useless?" I asked her once again in a somewhat agitated tone.
"You can't save her. Even if you were trying to be smart about it, the only thing you receive is consequence" the vagueness of her answer made me shiver in anger.
What she means I can't save her and also, what consequence is she talking about?
"Just get to the point, why shouldn't I save Haruhime from wherever she was captured? What is the consequence for doing it?" I straightforwardly inquire for answer, preparing myself for the worse.
When I asked her once again, she sigh tiredly and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"You are really not giving up, do you? Oh well, it's not like I give a damn how you feel anyway" I twitched my eyebrows from her provocation.
"The reason why you shouldn't save Haruhime is because when you tried to save her...."
".... everyone you love and care about will die before your eyes"
"Huh?"

[Third POV]
On a particularly distant future.
A certain district of Orario was burnt to the ground.
The buildings and roads were destroyed and were smoldering in flames. Patches of lightning strikes were scattered everywhere.
Then pile of dead amazons were littered on the streets, mostly were dismembered, incinerated and electrocuted.
On the middle of the district was headquarter of a certain evil goddess familia.
The whole place was ravaged and ransacked. All of the members of that familia were all killed one by one without mercy. Even the largest and strongest member was impaled by a dozen of spears with no effort.
Then a single individual was currently walking inside the goddess's castle.
A female renard with nine tails with whitened disheveled hair that was used to be pink and purple eyes with red pupils.
She is wearing worn out and torn white robe and armor that seems to belong to one of her deceased allies.
She wields various weapons, which mostly are the weapons of the fallen.
Her name is Yae Miko, but in this timeline, she was known as the level 6 adventurer with the alias of [Hellmaru] because of violent and merciless fiery and shocking nature.
The reason why she was a cold-blooded killer because it starts with a certain version of her in future told her in the mindscape to not save her friend, Haruhime, from a certain district called the Love district. She told that the familia of that district will kill her familia if they dare to oppose the goddess of that district.
However, she refused to listen and with the knowledge of her friend's location, she and her familia decided to change their plans and device a plan to infiltrate the love district. Their god warned them to not go because their still quite weak but Miko reassured him that she'll be extra careful in rescuing their friend. The god was reluctant but he gives in and allowed her but adding a condition to abort the plan when the situation gets critical. She nodded and begins the planning.
The beginning of their plan was to blend in with the crowds and search for Haruhime. They scour every building for her and one of her members found where their friend was.
When they told her she was inside a brothel, she was furious and rushed towards she was located. The moment she got there, she called out for her and told her that she will take her out of there.
However, Haruhime declines and told her that she doesn't remember her name.
With irrationality and impatience in her mind, she teleported into the room of Haruhime and grabbed her. Haruhime tried to struggle and told Miko that her bodyguards will come and kill her. Not listening to Haruhime, she teleported out of the brothel with her being carried like sack of potatoes. They ran away from the district as fast as they can.
However, then the worse has come to life, two amazons came at Miko's group and tried to strike them. Fortunately, they dodge their attacks and gained some distance from their attacker.
Miko looks at the appearance of their attacker. One was a black-haired amazoness with purple revealing outfits and wields a claymore. The other one was a grey-haired amazoness with conspicuous cat ears and tail, wearing a black furry leather jacket, skintight pants, and an eyepatch with a longsword as her weapon.
Miko demanded to know their identities, but the duo decline and told them they have no rights to know their name. However, they told their alias which are [Antianeira] and [Black Fang].
Black Fang dash towards Miko who is carrying Haruhime and slash at the speed of light. However, someone went in front of Miko to use their body as a meat shield and it was Kashima.
The sword slashed Kashima and he was cut in half. Miko and the others was traumatized and couldn't move. But Kashima use the last of his strength to hold the Black Fang's legs and told them run away.
Yamato was reluctant but Miko grabbed her hand and they escaped the scene.
Well almost, because Antianeira decided to chase them and easily killed both Shima and Nishioka who decided to stay behind and buy them time.
Miko grimace in frustration while carrying Haruhime who is pleading Miko to stop and leave her behind. Miko refused and kept on running with Yamato and Hitachi remaining.
When they reached the base, Miko quickly activated the barrier and went inside the house.
Takemikazuchi asked where the others and Miko told them about their death, Hearing that, he got angry and reprimanded Miko for being reckless and selfish.
Miko rebuke his scolding and told everyone to pack their things and leave Orario as fast as possible. While they are preparing to leave, the alarm system of barrier was sounded and reported that the barrier has been breached.
When Hitachi opened the front door, a sword came flying at her and struck her at the chest. Miko screamed and checked her condition. Unfortunately, the wound was fatal and Hitachi was killed on the spot.
Miko was furious and looks at the source of Hitachi's death. She was surprised to see a huge group of amazoness rallied outside their base. The goddess of the familia was also there.
The goddess demanded to return Haruhime to them or else they will kill everyone in the base. Miko was about to refuse when Haruhime tried to defend them and told them she will come with them if they leave Miko and the others alone.
The amazoness agreed and was about to take Haruhime with them. But Miko hold her hand refusing her to leave.
Because of that, Haruhime slaps Miko in the face and told her to stop her useless act of rescue. This broke Miko's heart and let her go.
The group of amazoness left the base with Haruhime along with them, leaving a heart broken Miko, distressed Yamato and disappointed Takemikazuchi.
After the unfortunate series of events, they find the bodies of Kishima, Shima and Nishioka, and bring them to the base. Then they buried the three along with Hitachi at the courtyard's soil.
Then Takemikazuchi told Miko and Yamato to forget everything had happened and move on.
Miko became depressed and gloomy after a few days locked in her room. Yamato tried to cheer Miko up and told her a lot of things to convinced to leave the room.
Yamato came up a good idea to invite Miko to a duo dungeon exploration with her. It took her a while to convince Miko and she came out of the room hugging Yamato. She hugged her back and comfort her.

Two years later and Miko became stronger after being the dungeon constantly, leveling herself to level 6. She gained a lot of basic abilities points that reached to S rank. She received a lot of magics and skill as well, most notably was the [Bladed Projectile Manifestation], [Fox's Tenacity], [Fox's Wrath], and a powerful magic that she refused to reveal and use in battle.
One day, Miko and Yamato were casually exploring the floor 40 of the dungeon. Miko also had her outfit changed that time, from a shrine maiden robe to a samurai robe. She quit being a shrine maiden long time ago and decided to pursue the way of a swordswoman.
<A/N: Miko's outfit was a combination of Flame Sakitama and Darkbolt Jonin. I dunno how it looks but I decided to make it half and half of those two battlesuit of Yae Sakura.>
While walking in the dungeon, they bumped to someone they didn't wish to come across. It was the familia of Amazoness that killed Kishima and the others.
Miko and Yamato glared at them and noticed someone on the back of the group. It was Haruhime who meekly walks with the amazoness.
Then there's the Black Fang who saw the two passing through them. She and Miko looked each other in the eye.
"So, what is the [Black Fang] doing in the dungeon?" Miko said in a cold tone
"We just finished exploring and about to leave to the surface. How about you, [Hellmaru]" the cat woman amazoness said in monotone.
"U-um, Miko-san.." Then Miko turn her attention to the traitorous renard hiding behind the Black Fang.
"What do you want, traitor?" Miko harshly said in disdain
"U-um... I'm sorry about what happened to Kashima-san and the others" She sheepishly apologize. However, Miko snorted in disagreement to Haruhime's words.
"Hmph, you should be. After all the efforts to bring you back to us, you just wasted their efforts in vain" Miko sternly rebukes Haruhime and about to leave the group of Amazoness.
"Oh, is that how you leave a friend hanging like that?" The amazoness with black hair and purple outfit mockingly said to Miko
"Her, friend? You serious? Why should be friend with someone who turns their back from someone who saved them? Don't me laugh [Antianeira] or should I say Aisha Belka"
Aisha snorted at Miko's threats and averted her eyes. Miko and Yamato then turn around promptly leaves the amazoness behind.
"That impudent little shet, I should have squash them to paste if I wanted to" says the huge and wide amazoness with a face that looks like a frog who was listening to all of Miko's petty rambling on the back of the group.
"Careful Phryne-san, that one was a level 6 adventurer we are talking about. She can kill anyone below her without a second thought." The Black Fang warns the huge amazoness.
"Tch, shut it, furball. I know about that." Phryne frustratedly click her tongue but then grinned widely "You know, now I think about it, we have Haruhime here with her level-boosting magic. If she uses that on me, I can beat nine tailed b*tch" She maniacally laughs as she mutters her plan.
"Um, Phryne-sama. Please don't hurt Miko-san. We had a deal that we will leave her familia alone if stay with your familia" Haruhime quickly tried to defend Miko from Phryne's plan to hurt her.
"Shut up, you are our property and if I say I will do my plan, you will follow my orders no matter what you say. If you don't, I will torture you. Is that what you want, little fox?" Phryne threatens Haruhime and the renard whimpers in fear.
Then the grey-haired amazoness stands in front of Haruhime, defending her from the huge amazoness.
"Oh? You dare stand before me? I will smash you like a bug" Phryne raised her fist and slams it towards the Black Fang.
However, she just caught the Phryne's fist easily and pull her closely to her mouth.
"Just remember that I am also level 6 too, you know. So be careful, Phryne-san" The Black Fang warns her that she can also kill her anytime as well. Phryne wide eyed in fear and retract her fist and separate from Black Fang.
"Tch, whatever. Let's get a move on, you slowpokes" Phryne ordered her amazoness familia to move to the surface.
""Yes""
The group of amazoness started walking to the direction towards the surface.
'Just you wait you two b*tches, I will use Haruhime against the both of you. Kukuku' Phryne thought to herself and grinned.
Miko and the Black Fang wasn't expecting what will happen to them.

Some of you might be wondering about something,
"Author-san, what the heck I just read?"
Well, dear reader, let me explain.
The whole Third POV was the Future Miko's backstory.
I know it's cringey and some of you might scream at me for Miko doing dumb shit again.
But in her defense, she's trying to save Haruhime as fast as possible. However, the catch is that she was overwhelmed with euphoria that she found Haruhime's location that she grew arrogant and careless with her abilities,
Besides, it's just an alternate timeline. So, it's fine, I guess.
Also, I hide the second MC's true name on purpose so I can give it a grand reveal in the end of the volume. So, if there are those who realized who she was, please hold it in and wait for the finale.
