"I know who the Palace dwellers were out on the night of the shooting of the arrows."

Xavia and Vamery's bodies froze when they heard that. They couldn't believe anyone saw them out that night.

"Is that true? But it wasn't just me who saw you guys leave the Palace." Concubine Valery replied to Vamery's words
Hearing that, Vamery and Xavia's bodies froze even more. So someone else saw them leave the palace besides concubine Valery?
"Catch the crown princess and her maids and put them in jail!"
Before Vamery could reply to concubine Valery's words, suddenly the voice of prince Quintis interrupted the two of them and gave the order to put him in prison with Xavia.
"Ready, prince!"
The police immediately caught Xavia and Vamery and took them to the prison as per orders from prince Quintis.

Suddenly someone whispered in concubine Valery's ear.
Concubine Valery who was shocked immediately looked back and saw someone standing behind her.

Xavia and Vamery were taken to a prison in the palace according to the agreement that if any resident of the palace was caught leaving the palace, they would be examined at the palace.

Suddenly Prince Quintis came and asked the guards to open the prison door and take Xavia to the execution room.

"Getting out of the palace without my permission is a crime and it can be called treason."
"What do you mean?! I am not treacherous!"
"You sneak out of the Palace at night. That is the act of a traitor."
"But you have no proof that I'm out at night."
"Concubine Valery is proof enough. I don't need any other proof."
"That means you're being unfair. Words from concubine Valery cannot be used as evidence that I went out that night, because concubine Valery could be lying."
"A King's concubine never lies. If she lies, then she will be sent to Devil's Island."

Prince Quintis immediately struck Xavia's staff under him, making the beautiful girl scream in pain.

Prince Quintis was silent for a moment. "For now I acquit you of accusations. But you and your maid remain in jail until I find proof that you really weren't involved. If I find evidence of your involvement, then you and your family will be executed on the spot."
Then Prince Quintis left the place of execution. He then ordered the guards to bring Xavia back to the prison.
Xavia was really scared right now. She was afraid that prince Quintis would find evidence of her involvement in the tragedy of killing a woman even though in fact she did not kill at all. She was afraid that someone had fabricated the evidence and had her and her family sentenced to death.
What should she do now? What if it actually put her and her family to death? She wanted to try to prove her innocence, but she didn't know how. Even if she's in jail now, how can he prove her innocence?
