The wind whistled through the barren landscape as the group set off toward Sendai. The cold morning air bit at their faces, but none of them paid much attention. Their focus was locked on the path ahead. The goal was simple—make it to Sendai, take down the Aberrants, and secure the top spot in the rankings. But first, a quick stopover at Kazuichi's stronghold for supplies and final preparations.
Kazuichi led the way, eyes narrowed as he scanned the horizon. It had been some time since he'd been back to his stronghold, and he wasn't sure what to expect. Behind him, the rest of the team followed closely, their footsteps crunching on the frost-covered ground.
Arisu adjusted the strap of her pack, her face set in determination. "How far is it to Kazuichi's stronghold?" she asked, glancing over at Ayaka, who carried a map.
Ayaka squinted at the worn paper, her brow furrowing in concentration. "Not too far. If we keep this pace, we'll reach it by mid-afternoon."
