"I never expected the underground to be this dangerous."
Sitting in a chair and staring around, Amelia sighed, while Kasim and Roxia beside her shared the same sentiment.
"The Judge had warned us that the underground was treacherous, and at the time we still thought we could overcome it. We were far too...naïve."
No wonder the three of them were so exhausted. After parting with Duanmu Huai, they had chosen to enter the Dark Region and had expended tremendous effort to get through the Underground Labyrinth, and then...the nightmare began for the trio.
In the dark underground, the biggest issue was time. This world didn't have watches to tell time, and in the blackness of the underground, inexperienced adventurers had no way to distinguish it, not even knowing how many days they had spent in these pitch-dark tunnels.
Beyond this, the omnipresent monsters and terrifying plants in the Dark Region were equally dangerous.
