June 17th.

Early in the morning, Qiao Sang arrived at Mingpei Junior High in the company of her mother.

The distribution of school entrance examination rooms was organized by district, with students from every school within the district being randomly assigned to different exam locations.

Qiao Sang was assigned to Class 17 at Mingpei Junior High.

"Did you bring your admission ticket?"

"I did."

"Did you bring your pens and all that?"

"I did."

"During the test, first do what you can, and leave the questions you don't know for last, okay?"

"Got it."

"You go in now, Mom will come to pick you up when you're done with the exams," her mother said softly.

This was the first time her mother had been so gentle since the signature from Sassy Bear was gone, and Qiao Sang was somewhat unaccustomed to it.

"Mom..."

Her mother became even more tender as she asked, "What's wrong?"

"The time hasn't come yet; I can't go in," Qiao Sang said helplessly.
