Mill wore Mauve her boot as Mauve chewed on an apple. She had wanted to skip the first meal altogether but Mill had insisted she ate something as the journey back would not only be long but also strenuous.
Suddenly, a knock rang out and the door opened to reveal Jael. He stood by the open door as his eyes rested on her. She looked up at him with bright eyes, she could not believe they were really leaving.
"You don't look ready to me?"
He said.
"I am," she cried.
"Sire," Mill said and stood to her feet before bowing.
Mauve stood on her feet immediately, she wasn't about to give Jael the chance to cancel this. She crossed the room and stopped in front of him.
His body didn't move, only his eyes did. They rested on her face and Mauve felt herself squirm under the intensity of his gaze.
