Capítulo 186: 186. Just A Kiss

She turned her head sharply in his direction, "Same old. You would know if you came by to see me." She whispered and turned away from him.

"I was held up," he said, she could feel his eyes on top of her head.

"I am sure," she rolled her eyes, still looking away from him. She hoped he could hear the sarcasm in her voice. She had her back on the bed and her head was turned away from him.

He slipped his hand underneath her body and pulled her closer to him. Mauve did not fight him and allowed herself to be pulled toward him. He pulled her onto his body but she still did not look at him.

"It is the truth," he said firmly.

"Really?" Mauve said, finally turning to look at him. "Are you saying there wasn't a time you could come to check on me?"

"I did not say that but I wouldn't have been able to spend more than a few minutes and didn't want to drop in only to leave immediately after." He explained.
