The diamond jewellery was really beautiful. I wondered who it came from, maybe it was a gift from Alex, but why did he not include his name? I thought. I received a call immediately, it was an unknown number but one thing I knew was that it was the sender.

It has to be the sender, who else would call if not the sender? But I was still anxious about it. Alex has never done this before and why would he try to pull a prank like this? I darted my gaze at Carie and she gave me an encouraging nod.

I nodded back and answered the call, "Hello Hazel." A familiar deep male cold voice rang in my ears and I frowned. What does he want from me this time?...
