Damon Salvatore came running down to the Salvatore School, he was out of breath, he was holding little Stefanie Salvatore in his arms.
"Caroline!" He shouted. "CAROLINE!"
He came running in. The students looked at him, a little shocked, at his state. But they had seen worse things.
"Get out of the way!" He shouted.
He ran down the corridor, and found Caroline Forbes standing outside.
"What happened?" She asked. Creases on her forehead. She was worried.
"Someone…Someone broke into the house." He huffed. "I…."
"Again?" Caroline opened the door to her office, she took the baby from his arms.
She pulled out a small mat from her drawer, and placed some toys she kept on standby for her niece.
"You want a drink, Damon?" She asked. "Looks like you need one."
He nodded, before sinking into the chair in front of Caroline's desk.
Caroline opened the cabinet, and took out a bottle, and two glasses.
"This has to stop, Damon!" She said, after taking a sip. "I mean…This is the fourth time this has happened."
"Two vampires broke into the room, and I had to break a chair to kill one of them!" He raised his eyebrows.
"I put this alarm system connected to your house." She pointed to the red button on the wall behind her. "I can come every time…..You know that!"
"What happens when you are not available?" He asked. "What happens when you are not in the city?"
"I….."
She didn't know what to say.
"What can you do?" She asked. "What should we do?"
"I don't know…Elena will freak!"
Caroline took a deep breath. This was becoming a big issue. He was right. She couldn't come every time. She might be out of town.
Having a little child in that house was a real problem.
"I'll think about it….I will come up with something!" She told him.
"Thank you…Caroline." He sighed.
Being a vampire had rendered him weak. A lot of vampires had come to their house. Attacking.
Damon Salvatore cleared up the house, and he anxiously waited for Caroline to find a solution.
And now….he wanted a permanent solution for this.
He couldn't take this anymore.
Caroline knew the best solution to protect them. She needed to send them away from Mystic Falls.
Probably forever.
"Damon…" She came inside the house, after school hours, "Elena? Are you here?"
"In the living room!" She heard Elena.
Caroline walked in.
"Ohh…..It has been a tiring day!!!" She fell on the couch, and poured herself a drink.
She took a sip.
"Where's Stefanie?" She asked.
"Asleep."
"GOOD!" Caroline emptied the glass, and placed it on the table. "Then, I have a proposition."
"What?" Elena listened intently.
"That you move away!"
"WHAT?" Elena almost fell off the couch. Damon caught her.
