Though, if I'd known that you were about to wake up, I would've kept him alive long enough for you to get a few hits in before putting him out of his misery. If nothing else, I did make sure he didn't die a painless death," I replied with a wry smile.

"I see...then, he's truly dead? It's a shame he turned out the way he did...we actually got along quite well when we were kids, but he started to change for the worse as we got older. And to think that Landis is the King now...it does sound like he's done a lot of good since ascending to the throne, though knowing him, he's probably got some kind of scheme in mind," He sighed in response.
