Lamber a few months ago had already made some progress in his research about space energy, but he needed more information, probably information that only rich and powerful people would have.

Edsson was trying to get the research going; within himself no less, with his own power.

He was a mage, and while he was much more adapted to controlling the earth and what were called "Hard Energies", such as controlling mana to form rock or steel, he was the best suited here to control space energy.
