Capítulo 51: Foreign races and portals.
After a pleasant chat with Marcus, the latter began to talk about more serious topics...
The high orcs, intelligent and high-level beings...
He explained with a lot of patience and detail, while at the same time he asked questions and was really interested in the family, not like a certain other military man who only read what he had to say...
And he also told them about the new allied races... Confidential information, that perhaps Viktor was not supposed to know.
Especially the elves, a group Viktor had already heard about, but this time...
This time even here, in Unity(that's how it was decided to name right now different places near the formerly known as the United Kingdom, mainly ruled by King Charles).
The first elves to arrive, as Viktor knew, were the forest elves, inhabiting the Amazon jungle.
That was followed by the sun elves. With them, unfortunately, new enemies, the dark elves...cursed by the witcher's power.
These elves inhabited the land mainly in Europe and part of Asia.
Another shocking information was how the transportation matrices were.
Each race had a different characteristic of creating these useful portals, and in turn in the same race there were different matrices, since they came from different worlds or even worshiped different gods.
Some were made of stone, others of wood...Others were even abstract, such as the portals of the monsters that appeared here.
Basically, the matrices had 2 main things that differentiated them, the god that gave them their power or from which they were born and the world they came from.
In their head, there was basic information about this, but it only said about their basic functions.
For example, it required energy to transport, which was generally taken from the one who wished to transport, since it would be too expensive to build one for beings with little energy to use.
Generally, these matrices were mainly built by mortals. The gods only built a channel for the world to connect and mortals could more easily guide their mana to build these transports.
There were also different transportation techniques, such as teleportation, space transportation, etc.
These required more or less energy and time. For example, space transportation required little energy to create the matrix (compared to teleportation), but it required traveling through the same connection that created the gods through space, so it generally required either great strength and expending one's own energy to protect oneself or some mechanism to survive the journey.
Even within the same methods, there were different types, such as teleportations that supported the use of energy from several people at the same time and others that did not.
Information about the connections, which were generally created by the gods, is now also accessible to people with a certain level of personal system.
They were both temporary and permanent. In the case of planet earth, 4 permanent connections were formed at the moment.
There was not much more information about it...
When leaving the dungeon, in fact the family received a lot of information from the system, which was public from level 5 of the system.
In this information were the names of 4 planets, but of course, none of the native earthlings knew anything about them.
Planets named as Central Andromeda 1, Andromeda 23, Minor Sage 10, Minor Spirit 2.
Other races that arrived to Earth by means of different special transports were the dwarves and gnomes, the dwarf peoples excelled in their engineering, being a great contribution to New Korea, helping to make it currently the most important power.
It was not known how the Koreans had managed to enlist their help, as these hermits were conspicuous by how unfriendly and easily angered they were.
The gnomes were friendly, but did not seem very skilled in warfare, even so, they were a great asset to some areas.
The empire of China was able to form a great friendship with them, and their skills with nature meant that this great empire was able to feed a large part of its people.
Even so, both gnomes and elves did not have a fixed territory and it was not known where they could be found...
At least, according to Marcus' vague information which he himself said was only partly reliable.
But one thing that was certain and that would affect them was that elves and intelligent orcs existed.
And they were close. Especially the high orcs...Perhaps, too close.
And soon, Marcus again made a request...
"You see...In these days, we discovered several high orcs around the place..."
"We became quite concerned and started to investigate..."
"Finally, we discovered that there is a camp of 15 high orcs nearby..."
"They dominate a kind of orc alliance, with a total of 6 camps..."
"And the truth...As you may already know, the high orcs possess a high level, reaching at least level 45 a normal adult"
"Of course, we won't ask you to fight one on one against something like that...Nor will we ask you to engage in a fight against even one of them."

He shook his head a little ruefully, feeling that he should refuse even though the others needed help.
Marcus liked him, he might even come to consider him a true friend...But, he knew well how risky such an operation was…
Many would die, and he wouldn't want to be the one who, because they were too far in the front, not strong enough, would die without even being able to blink an eye.
He was strong, but not strong enough for a group of high orcs, and no one would know if they would attack him or his family at any given moment.
Or at least that's what Viktor thought...
Death was inevitable with similar forces...And as he understood it, the orcs along with the monsters they crossed on the road would be a high force, which the military would not necessarily be able to beat.
Even if they won, it would be difficult.
"I think...I think we should participate" Emma said.
The whole family turned to look at her. Her words had a great importance, since sometimes, she could see the future, something that even Viktor couldn't achieve.
If anyone could change Viktor's mind, she would be his mother, Emma.
The person who could know if they would be attacked was her. Viktor hadn't considered this possibility in his thoughts, but now he realized that his mother could give them some security...
"Actually...There are chances of death..."(Emma)
"But they are low, and we could also truly help..."(Emma)

Marcus smiled, thinking with the last sentence, that he could buy them off...

"Is there a high chance of death? "Viktor asked.
"Not for us. "Emma replied
"Besides...Marcus is a good guy..."(Emma)
"He won't try to hurt us"(Emma).
"Right?" She said, looking at Lucia.
Lucia just nodded a little blushing.
"But I'm not going to look at it that way...I don't want a boyfriend nowadays!!!" Lucia replied, knowing what Emma's smile meant.
