It had been nine years since Tommy had been kidnapped, he was now, ten-years-old. Thankfully, he had forgotten the incident, he was now at school, and had a baby sister. His little sister was named Colleen Rose Stone. She was currently ten-months-old. "Tommy, we leave in two minutes get your shoes on!" Samantha yelled up the stairs at her son, she grinned at her daughter who repeated a few words back at her. She sucked on her fingers as she told Samantha, "shoes, shoes." She smiled at her daughter, "that's right, darling." Tommy thundered down the stairs, Samantha picked her daughter up, as well as her own bag, and her daughters.
She dropped her son off at his school, she got out and rounded the car. Opening his door and grabbing his bag for him. He struggled a little as she kissed his forehead, he shrugged his bag on. He ran into the grounds as she rounded the car and hopped in, he was at the doors with his friends. Smiling to herself, she headed off to Colleen's day-care.
Tommy watched as his mother's car disappeared down the road. His mates egged him on as they walked down the stairs of the school. He joined them, laughing at some joke. They walked down to the park nearby.
At the end of her long shift, Samantha pulled up at Tommy's school. Colleen was sleepily playing with her fingers. Samantha waited for a few minutes, she saw his teacher, raising a hand in greeting the teacher ended her conversation and walked over. Samantha rolled her window down. She smiled in greeting, "just here to pick up Tommy." The teacher's brow furrowed, "he hasn't been here all day. None of his friends have either." The doors to front opened and Tommy jumped down a few stairs. Samantha turned to his teacher, "I'll deal with it, thanks." His teacher hummed, "he still has a lunch dentition tomorrow." Samantha nodded. Tommy's teacher left waving at the young boy. Tommy climbed into the car. "How was school?" She asked, Tommy shrugged as his mother began to drive home.
Once they got home, Peter was leaning back on the couch. He grinned at his wife, he stood, Tommy ran to him. Peter swept his son into his arms, Samantha raised her eyebrows at him, and Peter understood that she needed to talk to him about something. She put Colleen down for her nap while, Peter talked to his son. Samantha re-entered the room, Peter sat down with his son, while his wife sat on his son's other side. "Your teacher told me, you skipped school." Tommy fidgeted and the story tumbled out. Peter pointed his finger at his son, "You're in big trouble. You are grounded. Go to your room while I discuss this with your mother." After their conversation, Peter looked over at his wife who grinned at him when their son had left, "what?" She shook her head, "I seem a certain lawyer doing something similar with his case. Guess it runs in his blood." Peter shook his head with a smile, as they both stood and headed to their son's room.
