Brandt rolled over in bed and brushed his hand over the space that you should have been occupying. When his hand brushed over the cotton sheets, he blinked sleepily. You weren't there, there was however, your lingering warmth. "Y/N?" He asked his voice husky from sleep. "Yes."
"Where are you?" You leant on his side of the bed and kissed his cheek. "I'm either going out for ice cream or commit a heinous crime. I'll decide in the car." He huffed a laugh, "Alright. We have a meeting at work at ten. You need be there." He fell back into the sheets as you began to leave, "God I hope you gets ice cream. I really don't feel like bailing you out this week, I've already had to bail out Benji and Ethan." You laughed, "Heinous crime, it is then." He sighed, before rolling over and pulling the sheets over his head. "Meeting at ten, Y/N."
You dashed into the office at ten. "You're late." William commented. "It's ten, I am on time and Ethan isn't here, so he is the one who is late." You relayed. Ethan entered, "By two minutes."
"Where the hell have you been?" William asked. "Who are you talking to?" You asked, William pointed at you. "So, where the hell have you been?"
"Riding a unicorn in Neverland. Where the hell do you think?"
"Did you commit a heinous crime or get ice cream?" You shrugged. "Heinous crime?" Luther asked humour lacing his tone. "Don't ask." After a few more minutes of good natured ribbing, Ethan began to explain the plan, he had created for the latest mission. "What's our exit strategy?" You asked after Ethan had skirted the issue three times. "Our what?"
"Oh my god, we're all going to die."
"It's a miracle we haven't yet." Benji muttered. You nodded agreeing. "So, what is the escape plan."
"Run and hope we don't get caught." Ethan told you as he, Brandt and Luther grabbed their bags leaving the room. "Oh, solid plan." You muttered as Benji started laughing behind you.
