Capítulo 7: Finding a safe place

The cart came to a sudden halt sometime later. Natalia jumped off before she could be spotted. She looked around and immediately knew where she was.

It wasn't as far away as she wanted to be but for now, it would do. It was almost noon the next day.

As she walked around aimlessly, she couldn't help but think about a certain king.

The image of the woman who sat comfortably under that tree came to mind. She must be one of his wives.

Everyone knew that the King already had four wives. It was not a secret. Even someone as oblivious as Natalia knew this.

Since she spent most of her time taking up one mission after another, she hardly had the time to keep up with useless things.

How would she have known that the people she thought were way above her would be a part of her?

She only wished for someone who would love her. Call her selfish, but Natalia didn't like the idea of sharing her mate with others.
