Capítulo 82: Chapter 82 An unpleasant surprise

As soon as Devile stabbed through the flesh of his human sacrifice, it felt as though he couldn't breathe. He almost fell to the ground but Hermes was quick to hold him.

"Pull yourself together, Devile," Hermes told him as he held his arm and then released him afterwards.

Devile exhaled deeply, taking one last look at the person he had just killed and was surprised to see that it wasn't the face that he had seen before. It was a different looking person, even different from the face he had seen before. It was then that he realized that he was worried for no reason and that was why he was imagining things. Throughout the time that the ritual began, he had been thinking of no one but Mira and that was why he thought the person looked like her previously. Now that he had concluded the stabbing ritual, his eyes cleared and he could now see that the person he killed was just a normal looking person with a different face and outlook even though she was a girl.
