As Kota and I talk our way into the night, the two bodyguards inspect my apartment. Trying to see if they could find anything that could threaten Kota's life.

Hmmm...

Top-notch bodyguards, wearing such cheap clothes. Are they doing this on purpose...? To mock me, perhaps?

Or are they trying to tell me that I'm not worth their luxury?

They're underestimating me.

"Kenma, I'm sure you know just how big of a deal this is. And I know that you're sure I know how big the information you just told me is."

The information being de facto; I'm working for Moriarty, I have three personalities, and I know your (Kota) weaknesses and strengths.

Of course, not all of these pieces of information are true. Otherwise, it would be nonsensical.

For the reason why I told him that I work for Moriarty is to make sure he doesn't wander around and celebrate, managing to lure the Jester into his hands.

Trust... is important-- no, essential for business. And I'm bringing that to him.
