Capítulo 8: MEET KARIN
Olivia sat in the middle of Rose and Rani, a combination like before they knew Karin. The woman sat by Rose's side, pushed aside and annoyed at the sudden feeling that Olivia was avoiding her.
"You're still sad because you were forced to marry Jeremy?" Olivia shook her head at Rani's question.
"Then why? Try to talk about it. Don't suddenly cry. You have a hysterical habit, so we're confused." Rose said the loudest among their friendship.
"It's true what Rose said. If there's something, you can say it. I can help you talk to your papa if you can't talk." Karin added wanted to join the conversation.
Women who always wear simple clothes, pants and shirts or t-shirts. She's a tomboy, so there's no need to be foreign if you see how she dresses. If Karin were to interfere, her father would follow her words. Alan knows that Karin is a good friend of his daughter, so whenever Karin says Olivia wants this and that but doesn't talk to her directly, Alan will immediately buy it and give it to Karin's intermediary.
Then it makes her friendship with Rani and Rose strained because Olivia prefers Karin, who helps her talk to Alan.
"I'm fine, just suddenly sad because last night the two of you had a bad dream leaving me." She said, looking at Rose and Rani.
Both of them reflexively hugged their best friend. Karin was confused and just hugged her along with the flow.
"Oh my, it's because of your bad dream that you got to that point. Come on, let's order some food. I'm already hungry. Let me have the energy to cry again." Rani said, wiping the tears from Olivia's cheeks.
"Okay, let's eat." Invite Rose.

Jeremy listened to reports from subordinates and sat in his oversized chair while staring at the city sky from the large glass in front of him.
"Stay there, and I will pick up my wife. If there is anything suspicious, report it immediately and send your location!"

The door to his room opened, and the figure of his assistant appeared, carrying the tab for today's schedule.
"Sir, there is another meeting with some investors before you have free time. Then you are invited to Mrs. Ningning's charity party tonight, and she wants to discuss public transportation." The assistant explained.
"Okay, please clear my afternoon clock. And prepare an evening gown for my wife, for I am going with my wife."
"Okay, sir." His assistant looked down before turning to leave.

Jeremy entered the cafe where his wife stopped by to gather with her friends, and all eyes immediately looked envious and amazed at his good looks and the domineering aura that can subdue someone just by his presence out of shame. Several groups of adult women there had shouted and laughed when they saw Jeremy, but the man only wanted to see one person.
His little wife was in the farthest seat and out of sight. His men said that his wife had been here for two hours, and Jeremy came after the meeting was over.
With a suit and the smell of a tired body, a grown man lured many bees closer, and some even dared to intercept Jeremy when he was about to approach his wife.
"Hello, men, introduce me, Kaile. If so, what's your name?" The woman had a tall stature and beautiful, seductive eyes.
Unfortunately, Jeremy just looked at him expressionlessly, and he is not a man who is easily influenced by things like this. Alan kept himself from being seduced by women for years, allowing him to survive until now without touching women other than his wife.
"I am Jeremy." But the man still returned the hand of the woman who introduced herself as Kaile as a sign of respect.
But the woman in front of her thought differently because, in her head, she was happy. In the end, Jeremy liked her beauty. If Jeremy knew what was going on in Kaile's mind right now, maybe the man would have left without looking after her.
"If I may ask, where do you want to go? Or you want to come and chat with my friends and me there." Kaile pointed towards her right side, where the friend she was referring to waved with a shy, crisp laugh.
"I'm in a hurry. Sorry, my wife has been waiting." Jeremy then walked past Kaile, who immediately grabbed Jeremy's sleeve without realizing it.
"Wait a minute, can I have your number first?!"
"Let go, or I—"
"Oh, Jeremy?" Jeremy immediately turned and saw the tiny figure of Olivia among her three tall friends.
Olivia's height is only 150 cm, while her three friends are over 160 cm tall, so she is like a middle schooler among her friends.
"I want to pick you up." Jeremy roughly released Kaile's grip from his arm and walked away.
Olivia walked toward her husband, who immediately pulled her into his arms. Of course, she was surprised and understood if this was her husband, who had a physical touch attitude. Rani and Rose were surprised, of course, wildly since Jeremy kissed her forehead and then gave his wife a short kiss while holding both sides of her face to cover the scene for a while.
"Geez! This is the ice cube we know, right?" Whispered Rose asked Rani, who opened her mouth, not knowing what to answer.
"I don't know, and it hurts me to see it, bro!" Reply Rai.
"Jeremy, shame in this public!" Olivia is undoubtedly angry with Jeremy's attitude.
"Sorry, I can't stand to see you are so cute I want to bite." Jeremy looked down again and bit his wife's ear.
"JEREMY!!"
"We're going home. Tonight there will be dinner with my friend. You come."
"Ehem! Forgot if you have a friend, bro?" Rose said sarcastically when Jeremy wrapped his arms around his wife's waist and intended to leave.
Jeremy turned and smiled faintly. "Sorry, I forgot my wife's friend is there."
Rai rolled her eyes in embarrassment while Jeremy excused Olivia's friends, who were still immature.
"Want to get to know me first? Who knows you don't know me yet?" Jeremy asked, facing Olivia's three friends.
He still hugged Olivia's waist without wanting to let go, while Karin saw that she was angry and didn't accept it but showed the sweetest smile and walked first.
"I'm Karin, Olivia's close friend—should I mention it?"
"Just call me Jeremy." The man replied, turning his tone cold. Karin was stunned to hear that.
"O-oh, okay, Jeremy. I'm Karin."
"Yes, I am your friend, Olivia's husband, Jeremy." Added Jeremypressing husband's words towards Karin.
"Eww!" Rose and Rani didn't notice Jeremy's displeasure from the tone of his voice when he answered Karin.
Of course, Jeremy is unhappy with Karin because this girl's existence changes Olivia's character, and she stays away from her. And when he investigated, this woman was the daughter of the prostitute Smith. Alan's business opponent has always wanted the highest seat from his adoptive father, a man who always interferes with anything that Alan runs until now has not given up.
And Jeremy should be suspicious of Karin's presence approaching Olivia.
