Silas:
I watched as her friend pulled her up the stairs, already playing with Sylvia's hair and talking about how she could make it look this way or that way. Sylvia gave us a quick smile as she turned the corner. Brine sounded in the mental link for the pack. "Alpha sir, it seems just about everyone will attend this evening. Food is prepared and being kept warm, the tables are set, we are finalizing some of the decor now. You, Beta Sinlan, and Miss Sylvia are set at a table nearest the stage. Any requests before I turn in to get ready for the evening?"
"No thank you, nicely done." I looked up at Sin, he was still biting his cheek.
"I know it pissed me off too. She's right of course, she can do what she wants, but if she ever tries that again I might just ignore that right." She may hate me for it, but I refuse to let her be hurt because she is trying to keep me safe.
