Nivritti kept smiling, grinning, laughing while walking towards the bathroom to wash her eyes. She was free. Her picture was not clicked. Her name would not appear in the magazine. She was on cloud nine.
Now, Ritvik won't find her. He won't come to harass her. She can live in peace. She can enjoy her life, her new job, her new friends, this beautiful country, her freedom, her peace. She was finally breathing normally. No fear, no anxiety, she was happy, she was content.
She turned the tap on and threw water in her eyes to ease the pain. The cold water was like an elixir. He immediately soothed her burning eyes. Jae-Hwa brought paper towels for her and softly she wiped off the water.
"Are you okay?" asked Jae-Hwa.
"Yeah, just a cloth in my eye. I am perfectly okay," replied Nivritti and sighed loudly. She can finally catch her breath. She was unable to breathe all morning.
"Let's go. All must be waiting for us," said Jae-Hwa.
