Capítulo 26: About Her

Johanna had all of the details about Eris. Eris Leandro. She stayed more in Switzerland rather than in the Philippines. But her mother was originally from Turkey. Her parents died and she had a friend named Martha. The friend Martha is currently working in Russia and the condominium unit that was given to her was still being renovated. Her dong, King, was dead and there were no other people connected to her which is odd. No relatives and nothing.

"Search more." She told the investigator in the Empire.

"Yes, Ma'am." The man stopped. "Since she's always with Lord Gray, I will have to lay low a bit. We will know more about her if she's alone."

"Sure." Johanna sipped on her wine as the man bowed and left.

"Mama," Quinn dashed it. "Mama," She cried and ran to her.

"What's wrong, love?" She wiped Quinn's tears.

"Fishy, die." She pointed upstairs.

"I will check it, okay? Don't cry now." She caressed her hair and kissed her. She picked up her baby girl as she went upstairs to her room.

"It's, Lala." She hiccuped.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." She comforted her. Benny was there crying as well while pointing to her Angel Fish.

"Lala," Benny cried. She put down Quinn as she took the fish net and scooped the fish. She placed it over the tray.

"Quinn, call Mr. Larry to check the water, okay?"

Quinn approached the telephone and dialed Mr. Larry's phone. Then, she hiccuped and stopped herself.

"Hello?"

"Larry, Lala~~Lala died."

"I will be there right away, Princess."

"Okay," She hiccuped and looked at her mommy with those pouted lips while crying. She put down the phone and ran to Johanna and hugged her. Johanna sighed as she sat on the stool and hugged her kids. She looked at the fish tank that had a lot of different fish. They have to do water testing and water change.

"Don't worry, it'll be fine." Johanna comforted the two. The kids love all of the fish and none of it has ever died so far.

Shortly, Larry who has been taking care of all of the animals on the Estate and is known as an animal doctor, specializing in aquatics came with his tools and a young boy that he hired to help him around. She took the kids out of the room while the Butlers and Maid came up to help. She planned to get Quinn's mind out of the fish for a while and little Benny was sad as well.

She took them downstairs to the playroom where they were supposed to be sleeping Calli together with her baby brother Henry Jr. While waiting for their parents. She left the girl asleep but it seemed that she took her wine glass and sipped on it.

"Calli, that's not for you."

"Juice," She said and put away the wine glass. Her face looked sour and she pouted.

"Calli, Lala died." Quinn cried loudly and hugged her.

"Huh?" Calli was surprised as Johanna sighed. It will wake up Henry Jr. It will be more chaotic. The nine-month-old boy sat up, looking groggy, then crawled and reached the rail of his crib to stand.

"We got fishy. Lala, in heaven." Calli comforted her big sister.

Shortly, the Butler came and murmured to her.

"Your private investigator wanted to see you."

"Again?"

"It's an important matter." She nodded as she let the man in. Butlers close the door leaving her with the kids.

"Madam, Miss Martha, Eris's friend arrived at the airport today."

"Monitor her closely."

"Yes, madam, however," the man pulled out his phone and sent the photos to her. She checked her phone and saw the face of the Lady. "On the same day, a member of Kuznetsov arrived with this woman named Martha." Johanna frowned a little. She heard that the Kuznetsov was currently the Dragon Empire's main problem. They are known as the Eagle Empire. She heard that they are currently building a Royal hotel just across Pattinson's five-star hotel, but was it connected to Martha?

She crossed her arms as she thought deeply.

"I will deal with this matter. Give me the details of this man."

"Yes, ma'am."

"You are now dismissed."

The Dragon Empire was founded by The Mondragon Family. The Mondragon family was their close family. Alessandro, who is Keira's husband, happened to be friends with James Mondragon and the in-law, Zachary Pattinson. A very close friend of Sandro and Keira. James's sister, Andromeda Mondragon was currently the one leading their Empire. Now, the Eagle Empire has been problematic as she doesn't know the reason why they are having a showdown. But if Janella's people were connected to the Eagle Empire, which is originally from Russia and China, they'll be damned. She can't intervene in the Dragon Empire's fight, but it can be a massive problem.

Wine and jacuzzi. Eris's mind was somewhere else. Currently, Gray is setting up the jacuzzi in their bedroom by the full glass window, with an over viewing of Mount Taal lake. She can't see but using her ability for just a second, she can enjoy the little view. However, this time, Gray insisted that they soaked in the jacuzzi. She wanted to. She had no choice but to seduce the man and let him have her. She's not ready for any of that, but for her family, she needs to. Or maybe, she's thinking that Gray was too attractive.

"Your bathing suit is ready?" He asked and gave her a pair of bathing suits. "I can read you the rest of the novel." He grinned.

"Gray," She called.

"Hmm?"

"I want a white wine. Do we have that?"

"Of course, we have red, white, and sparkling green. Babe, everything you need, we can order it."

"Aren't you spending too much here?"

Gray only grinned.

"Next stop, we will be in my lake house. It's like a thirty minutes drive. We can't go straight to that house since it needs a little renovation and pretty touch. We will be there tomorrow."

She stood and started undressing. Gray turned back and let her dress up. "I will get the fruits." He dashed out of the bedroom to take the board that has half of the burgers, and half of the fruity sweets and cheese. He waited for five minutes and shortly, he entered. She's wearing that black two-piece bikini. It shows her perfect slender curves and he wished that she'll be a little curvy. He remembered that according to her results, she needed to gain a little weight and she had food deficiency.

"I got burgers, fries, cheese, and fruits."

He placed it on the table beside the jacuzzi. Then, he led her there and soaked her first. He took the small waterproof book and joined her. He sat down and he pulled her to sit on his lap. She put his arms around him.

"So, where were we?" He asked as he took the cold glasses and the bottle of white wine.

"I think we stopped on the Steamy Postcards." She said with a big smile. "It was an epic letter between the couple in a long-distance relationship."

"I like that too. This book is more like dominant stuff." He shrugged it off. "Anyway, let's continue." Eris moved her face closer to kiss him as it landed on his brows." He grinned as he lowered her chin and kissed her lips. "Wine," He reached her hand and gave the glass to her.

"Thank you."

"Darling," He caressed her bare back. "Do you know how much you are affecting my mind right now?"

Eris's eyes widened. He thought that his teasing made an effect, but it was the fact that Eris was trying to block his head so he wasn't able to foresee something about her and about Griffin who might be following her outside. It was the only way to protect her family. But when he caressed the strap of her bikini, she shivered a little.

"This thing that you are wearing," His fingers played on the string at her back. He gently pulled her closer. "It's making me crazy."

"Should I wear this in front of you often?" She asked as she steadily held her wine glass.

"Baby, I would love to but I prefer you naked." He kissed her lips. "Drink up your wine then we will have these burgers. It's still hot."

She sipped on her wine. She somehow didn't know the taste because her stomach was upset. Perhaps it's because of guilt. Gray takes care of her, protects her, and spoils her.

"Something wrong?" He kissed her cheeks and then her collarbone. "Maybe you wanted me to feed you?"

She giggled and nodded her head. He raised his hand and took the food pick and picked a piece of spiral potato with barbecue sprinkles.

"Open your mouth." He fed half of it as he quickly pulled the food pick and he bit half of it as their lips touched. She was taken aback but she didn't complain. She chewed her food, her ears were flushing. "Good?" he grinned while chewing the fried potato. "Now, you can tell me about yourself."

"About me?" She was surprised.
