Capítulo 50: Dark Demon Cavern

The use of magic power in the demon realm needed to be as efficient as possible so that Blush could maintain her mana skin to protect herself.

In order to prepare for such situations, a more effective means was needed that cost less magic power.

Artefacts that could be controlled with mental abilities or telekinesis and required little magic power were prepared for any kind of problem that Blush may encounter so that the use of her magic power was reduced as much as possible without affecting her combat potential.

Inside the Demon Realm, Blush was more vulnerable to the outside world and had to use an additional spell that would need to be maintained over her mana skin.

There were demons that existed that could sense ki or could tell the difference between people of their realm and those of other realms so entering without preparations would only alert the demons to her presence.

Her face was covered with a simple mask and there was a strange aura that surrounded her body on which looked like she was covered in the dark energy.

Blush had some time to study the structure and characteristics of dark energy in the past due to it being within her body for so long and had met two other demons before so she had a good idea on how to overcome that problem.

Casting a spell that changed her aura to mimic the dark energy of the demons did not change the property of her magic power or ki but had instead disguised them from the eyes of the demons and let them see her as one of their own.

Once that spell had been imbued into an object that was on her body, a simple piece of jewellery that she wore could become a magical artefact that could be used to conceal her human aura from the demons without costing her a great amount of magic power to keep it up all of the time.

It worked in a similar way to her shapeshifting earrings and was in the form of a small bracelet that was wrapped around her wrist.

The moment of truth had come and Blush had come across a male and female demon who were on the sole path that lead to gate.

The male stood in front of her and looked down due to his build being very large. "You just came back from the human world huh? Which family are you working for?"

Blush knew that there were a couple of influences of the Demon Realm which were playing around on Earth but she could not use their names so easily and be caught out for it later so she only had on option.

She raised her head to look up towards the hulking demon male and spoke without fear. "I am a rogue demon who is just returning for a little while. Can I pass now?"

Even with her preparations, Blush still needed to act the part and not show any weakness or suspicious actions which would make them doubt her.

Rogue demons were loners, outcasts or those that did not wish to serve and would not bow down to the more powerful demons that had formed their own groups or families.

It was easy for rogue demons to die due to them not having anyone to rely on within the Demon Realm where the dangers were all around and conflicts could happen out of nowhere.

It was not only the demons that were affiliated with some of the major influences in the area that had passed through the gate in recent years and there had been a fair share of rogue demons so the excuse could work for her.

There were some among the rogue demons that had chosen to hide their identities in a similar way to Blush so her appearance was not too strange or suspicious to the demons.

The male demon nodded upon hearing her response then stepped aside while the female demon had stared at Blush carefully then turned her head away. "You may enter."

Blush nodded then walked forward until she finally found herself out of their range of sight. 'Did she notice anything strange or was she just being thorough in her job?'

She let out a light sigh before continuing into the dark rocky area that was surrounded in a dark energy that moved around like a strange dark mist.

There were many different directions to take as different passages appeared but Blush followed the memories she had gained to go down the safest route and had left the more narrow passages or caverns.

A more open space was revealed before her eyes that had been lit up by some strange looking stones.

There were some strange looking dark trees which created a forest and there seemed to be several cities that were below but it was not so easy for her to get down unless she followed a certain ledge or cavern down there.

It was very easy for those living there to get lost if they did not know how to navigate through the environment.

If someone had no knowledge of the Demon Realm or could not adapt to the environment quickly then they would suffer greatly and their lives could be put in danger very quickly.

The sword on the back of Blush was unsheathed as she sensed a faint presence nearby which moved closer to her.

The tip of the sword suddenly pierced through something with ease which showed its sharpness and durability but that did not mean that the strange creature was weak in any way.

A dark scorpion that was slightly larger than the average scorpion had crawled on the rocks near Blush and was moving closer but its tough shell had been pierced. "Scree.."

According to the memories that Blush had searched through, there did exist many types of other creatures within the Demon Realm but they were far more aggressive and dangerous than what could be found on earth.

The poisonous creatures and those that blended into the darkness of the tunnels were among those that were the most dangerous.

Even when it had been pierced, it still had a strong vitality as it struggled on the edge of her sword before it finally died.

Once it had died, Blush began dismantling it and put the parts into some bags while the poisonous sacs, venom extracts, the stinger and blood were stored in some containers.

The gourd she had made was based on the others as was not exactly a typical storage space that worked based on the principles of space.

It was not an unlimited space or could contain a certain amount based on her magical capacity or how it had been built, it was instead built to reduce the size of the objects using the principals of shapeshifting magic.

The items inside would be made smaller and could be stored within but once they had been removed, they would return to their original state.

It was still better to organise everything and keep certain things within protective containers that would not shatter, the collisions of those things inside the gourd would usually not be a lot but it was better to avoid such things inside of it and have it more organised for times when she was moving around more actively.

There were some sensitive materials inside the flask that could easily cause a disturbance inside the gourd or even cause an explosion while there were other things she valued that she had brought with her and would not want to be damaged.
