Steve's expression has become a worrying tale. He couldn't even concentrate on his driving. He has been attempting to call Jasmine line but haven't been able to reach. 

He just did not understand what was going on. Why did Laura suddenly disappear without a clue of her whereabouts? He believes something is wrong somewhere. There might be misery for him to solve. He knew Laura very well, despite the little time he had spent with her.

The girl wouldn't dare to leave without telling anyone about it! No, this might be a total joke. Laura can't just disappear out of the blue. 

His left hand was on the steering while his right hand was still dialing Jasmine's number. 

"Come on, Jasmine, pick the fucking call!" He grumbled,

After more minutes of dialing her number, it finally gets picked. 

"Hello Steve. What's up?" Jasmine, a girlish voice, asked on the line.
