Capítulo 69: Jormungander
After Wo Shie disappeared from the void space Albus breathed out a sigh of relief as the oversoul involvement almost completely insure the completion of his task. However it did bring certain complexities into the situation.
As Wo Shie was standing in the infirmary looking at how tall he had become and how his clothes grew with him made him very satisfied to have these clothes as his old clothes would have left him almost bare bottom in this situation.
Albus voice sounded in Wo Shie's mind one more time. 'Do remember to diligently train to discern the energy in the symbols of the universe if you ever have any questions I've places a long distance communication device in your spatial pocket.' After saying this Albus voice cut out.
Wo Shie began to look around and noticed his surroundings had changed since he was last here, what used to be an infirmary with beds and tables was now an empty room with only the dimly lit light runes across the walls providing any light, at this point it slightly looked like a dungeon.
Finally being away from Albus and all alone in what seemed like a dungeon Wo Shie decided to check on Lola and Typhon as he was still wary of Albus was truly capable of safely returning them to Taijutu's abode.
He disappeared from the dungeon area and reappeared within Taijutu's abode, he quickly meandered through the hall finding himself in front of the comprehension chamber. After taking a deep breath he pushed the door open only to find the room in the same state he had first found it in.
All 4 Orbs sat silently in each corner, but when Wo Shie took his first step into the room they all began flashing like warning lights slightly startling Wo Shie.
Lola quickly materialized herself appearing as a 13 year old girl and ran to embrace Wo Shie. After Lola Typhon Materialized followed by an orb glowing a deep black that seemed to swallow all the light in the room with every pulse.
The vanta-black orb materialized into a small snake probably 6 inches in length that bowed its head towards Wo Shie before streaking towards his forehead, Lola and Typhon tried to stop the serpent but to no avail, it was too small and too swift.
The serpent penetrated into Wo Shie's forehead crossing the barrier into the realm of his diving universe tree. With the establishment of Wo Shies foundation his divine universe tree was able to firmly root itself within Wo Shies cultivation path.
It has to be stated that having a divine universe tree didn't mean Wo Shie lacked a spiritual sea it just meant there was a higher grade source of soul power that existed within that he could use as the base of his cultivation. His spiritual see would provide nutrients and sustain the divine universe tree as it grew.
Considering it started so large in the beginning even the most menial task would drain Wo Shie which also cause his mental stamina to drain resulting in him sleeping more than he'd like to admit.
His divine universe tree was on what seemed like a large island surrounded by endless amounts of tranquil waters, when the small serpent pierced into this realm it grew over 1000 times the 6 inches and another 1000 times its side again in front of Wo shie causing Wo Shie to double over while grabbing his head in an attempt to stop the pain that made it feel as if his mind were about to explode or collapse.
In this moment the serpent flared its power as its name resounded in Wo Shies mind "JORMUNGANDER!" Hearing the name brought a soothing feeling and all of the serpents power infused into Wo Shie's spiritual sea and bonded the two as master and companion.
The overflowing energy in Wo shoes spiritual sea caused large waves to break up in all directions away from the center island crashing into invisible barriers causing the newly raised water levels to lower with each crash on the barrier, this continued for about 10 minutes until his divine sea around the tree became tranquil again.
The serpent returned to its 6inches size in sped into Wo shie's spiritual sea not to be seen again however after the creature shared its name Wo Shie could sense exactly where it was within him thanks to his newfound knowledge of self.
Wo Shie slowly stood up relishing in the pain that had ended and his new clarity of mind which made him feel like he could take on the world as it didn't take as much energy for him to think simple thoughts now.
His attention returned to where his body was right now in this moment, and saw defeated looks on both Typhon and Lola. Wo Shie was surprised to see Typhon no longer took the form of a creature straight out of hell and instead he looked almost like an identical twin of Wo Shie, the only reason he knew it was Typhon and not a reflection because his crown of horns was reduced to baby horns protruding out the 4 corners of his head.
The fourth orb continued to pulse a gentle blue light but did nothing. Wo Shie looked at Lola and Typhon, Lola who was embracing him in her arms looking up slightly to clearly see Wo shie's face while Typhon stood leaning against a wall with his arms crossed.
"Nice to see you're still alive I thought we were gonna be locked up here another eternity while we waited for you to reincarnate." Typhon said his voice no longer being grisly instead it just held a weight as if his words could manifest themselves physically if he so desired.
"Yea yea I'm fine, what do you guys know about Jormungander… and are you guys okay?" Wo Shie responded to Typhon while scanning over Typhon and Lola noticing they had even taken the liberty pf materialize themselves with clothes matching his.
The only difference was Lola's outfit was all white with gold helping identify the smaller details and the bottom of the pants were flared out covering her feet. While Typhon was wearing all black with tinges of crimson and his pants style was the same as Lola's making Wo Shie question if he liked his pants or theirs better.
"JORMUNGANDER also known as the world serpent, that was something you thought of before the universe birthed it's own samsara, Jormungander used to be responsible for maintaining the balance of life and death ensuring souls were reborn." Lola said her melodious voice like honey to Wo Shie's ears as he could hear every emotion she had for in in just those few words. They we're gentle and slow as she looked up at Wo Shie like she never wanted to let go of him.
Feeling this Wo Shie blushed slightly coughing and separating himself from Lola, "Ah I see we'll I'm glad that you are alright, you can carry on I'm going outside to see everyone else." Wo Shie said in a dignified manner mimicking the words and actions he'd seen seniors use.
